I think my great grandma went there. My grandma went to Wheelock. My grandma was from Sardis before it became a lake. Still got plenty of family near the lake.
I remember years ago there was talk of turning wheelock into a tribal college. I think that would be nice to have a tribal college within the Choctaw Nation. I only keep up from afar since I live in Louisiana currently.
