@@az-6262 When an armored formation goes in column, they usually go through a mine-sweeped trail, but ukrainians are also clever and destroy the first tank with drones and ATGM so the others have to go around it through mine-unsweeped terrain. If the first tank is tutel tonk, that problem is solved. Now let's see what ukrainians invent to counter it.
@watapizza1225 i think atgms work just fine, but russians are known to target them with drone strikes and artillery before almost every assault. Maybe mobile humvee anti tank squads, the downside in having these sheds on them is visibility, outmanuever the tank and its done for, but these tanks always have escorts of bmps and normal tanks, Plus there might be an overhead fpv suicide drone guiding and protecting the shed and convoy, unless it has an active drone jamming systen on board Artillery is a better solution, if only the ukrainians had enough, it needs to be almost a direct hit too, but then again, russians attack from multiple angles and regularly shift their movement, making them hard to hit, thats why ukraine almost only target buildings with Artillery
Warfare in 2020-2030 Expectation: AI powered hunter killer drones, soldiers in exoskeletons, smart bullets, super camo and whatever Reality: Shed on a cold war era tank
Bro the blyatmobile is literally the embodyment of "you may not like it but this is what peak performance like" *shows tank under literal shed of ERA* Meme!
@@LIGMAMAL It wasn't destroyed, it left the battlefield and later was spotted and attacked when stationary in a garage, although it's unclear whether it was destroyed or just damaged.
Russian did use those tanks people on the internet call it the turtle tank an also I forgot there was an actual name for it I believe the Russian name it and also that turtle tank did have a drone Jammer on it so far it's been in affected in the battlefield it is really interesting
@@user-wd5vs1jc9b hey man we're not kidding Russians are using armor plating on that tank and people calling it the turtle tank and also on top on the roof on the turtle tank they use a type of thing on the Drone Jammer and so far no drones are not targeted because it was too hard because the Jammer is working good for the Russia some people believe this is going to be the game changer for the war for Russia if they keep building those the last you change the battle just want to tell you one of them have been destroyed the set alarm is still alive hope you have a great time about the facts
@@ashtonkamien8542 I know this tank is real. Actually, I think it is not the only tank that looks like that. To my knowledge, this tank was damaged previously so the turret can't rotate. Now it is being used as a mine clearing vehicle. Actually, this armour really works, no matter how comically it looks.
@@user-wd5vs1jc9b okay thank you for telling me that the armored tank was really interested in the Ukraine war how the Russians make that I hope you're having a great day and thank you for that
In WW2 there was a cases of soviet tank camouflaging as village log houses/ Some sort of moving village. This is transcendental ideal and goal of this war.
"Hey comrade! We know you want more armor on this heavy armored vehicle of yours. But have you perhaps wanted to have *_more armor_* on your armored vehicle?"
Today on Tiny House living, we got a T72 model house with tin shack decor for a retro farmhouse look. It can fit a family of 3, and has enough space to store plenty of ammunition for its main gun.
Thinking about it this isn't as stupid as it looks. The "Shell" makes getting a solid hit with an FPV very difficult especially with the powerful EW jammer they put under the housing. The sheet metal also acts like spaced armor against the molten jet of RPGs and ATGMs degrading their penetrative power or making them outright miss the tank as it's hard to eyeball where the actual tank is under the shed they bolted on it. The only thing this Turtle Tank is bad at fighting is other Tanks and IFVs as the situational awareness is awful. But if you have one or two in the vanguard to soak up damage and keep the other tanks back to provide fire support and/or exploit the breakthrough then it does have a niche use as an up-armored mine clearer.
@@johanmikkael6903Not a problem. The russians use it as spearhead for attack columns, it protects the IFVs behind it who watch its back and it has constant drone support, at least this is what it looks like from the videos I saw.
Forget about armor from shells bro, tank duels in Ukraine are extremely rare, 90% of Russian tank losses are from FPV drones and they need to adapt to them
with england it's normaly genius, like the boys who made that sniper rifle. but in russia it's three world be cosmonauts hoping not to be sent into space by a $50 walmart drone with some granades or something.
ill bet when our kind wage war on an alien civilization ill bet our kind will still make a tutel tank and somehow a mosin nagant managed to sneak in to the conflict
You know what? F it, let's make a tank with all the gimmicks. I'll start. Of the top of my head i can think of: -Frontal Engine -Replaceable, removable Engine bay -Multifuel Turbine Engine -Road-safe Roadwheels -Hydropneumatic Suspension -Chobham Armor -Spall liners -Blowout panels -ERA (at least three different models) -APS (destruction) -APS (jamming) -APS (laser) -Spaced or Slat Armor everywhere, every shot must thread the needle -full ECM&ECCM suite -BLUFOR tracker -GPS & Russian Equivalent (hooked to the same Computer) -All controls in Esperanto, alternatively pictograms -Search&Track Radar Array -Multispectral Cameras&Periscopes for EVERYONE, even the driver -Escape Hatches with Hydraulics AND explosive release bolts -Coaxial Autocannon AND machinegun -Pintle-mounted Machinegun and Recoilless Rifle -Turreted, roof-mounted Autocannon, Machinegun, and ATGM -both a Casemate and a turreted main gun, one ~160mm the other ~80mm, one stabilized -every ammo type under the sun, including (but not limited to) VT-fused airburst, naval incendiary, canister, training, paint, confetti, HEAT, AP, APFS, APFSDS, "Ball" with Tracer, three types of ATGMS (for either the gun or roof-mount), MANPADs, sharp rocks covered in powder wrapped in cloth, dead cows, nuclear-tipped munitions, and little candy bars on parachutes -Telescoping snorkels for fording -external VLS tubes for UAVs w/ interior terminal Did i forget anything? Let me know and i'll add it.
A box from metal gear. Who said a box couldn't be the best place to hide and your best friend...plus it has some sensors to detect incoming drones and missiles
Galvanized steel roofing sheets? Fun fact, any late cold war era, steel cored assault rifle ammo will punch through those. 7n6, m855. No sweat. There's two use case for these. Infantry underneath, or battery banks and generators for the 900mhz and 2.4ghz flood transmitter antenna arrays they use to try and jam FPVs. Neither of these systems (flesh bags or battery banks) are protected against shell splinters and hail of bullets when you're using galvanized roofing steel sheets. It may make a dropped hand grenade roll off. But if it stays, then the steel sheet becomes a spalling hazard. Now what it may actually do is make the vehicle appear so large, it's hard to apply the right track gates on fire and forget missiles like Javelin. And you also can't be sure you'd hit the hull underneath when using a SACLOS missile.
