im using AVX , but i found that when monitoring from headphone will get hear some little harming at the background ??? but the output is ok! can sennheiser figure out what was it??? and not only me another friend of mine which is audio recordist face the same problem when monitoring?.. we using DSLR 5D MARK3 and we sure our headphone is good and we tested G3 side by side tq Reply

Hi there, I have the MKE2, I am using it with a GH5 panasonic. Is it suppose toturn off when the camera is turned off? It currently doesn't automatically turn off

This works only with phantom power. I guess the GH5 doesnt have phantom power

Do you have to buy a separate handheld to get the omni-directional MD 42 ? Or you can buy only the separate capsule of MD 42 ? Which is better for real life handheld microphone use ? The cardioid e835 or the MD 42 for the handheld microphone ?

A question of personal preference. However this video is slightly incorrect as the kit comes with the MD 42 (omni directional) as standard not as this video implies as an add on. Complained at the time as we bought it as a more directional mic but received zero response from Sennheiser. A shame considering the thousands of pounds we've spent over the years.
