Eve Spaid, thank you..I’m trying my hand at my first wedding book for my son and soon to be daughter in law..I’m trying to get as many ideas as I watch videos.. I’m pretty new to the junk journals. I’ve yet to make one..and I’ve been interested for 3 years now.. I’m retired and I always say, I have more time than money haha.. 🤣😂 I had wondered how to strengthen the covers and you sure answered that question for me..I love watching you 😍 You’re very easy to learn from and you explain everything so well.

Linda your family is going to love and treasure the Journal your making them. And your going to love the process of learning new techniques along the way. Thank you for your kind words...I have been making journals for years… But making videos is new to me and very challenging. I try to make them concise without a lot of chatter so I don’t take anybody’s time from crafting… But I worry that maybe I don’t explain or give enough detail... so I’m happy that you’ve learned something… It really pleases me. Please don’t hesitate to give me feedback of what I should do differently or if there is a technique/project that you would like me to do a video on. Have a wonderful day!

Eve Spaid, I think you do a wonderful job at your videos❣️ I have no problem with any kind of chatter..I love Gayle, and a few months ago she had mentioned you..please don’t change a bit..Thank you, I have been trying let me tell ya..haha I have a hard time sewing in signatures..but I need to do more of them to get better at them.. Please keep making your videos I really enjoy watching you, and learning.

Linda C Awwww, Gayle is one of my favorite people. And I wish I had her gift of gab🥰 well thank you... practice makes everything a little easier. Yes, sewing in signatures was not my favorite... I have to tell you using that Crop-A-Dile on my signature is a real game changer. Easy Peezy! Just like it looked in the video. Promise 😃

Thank you Pat! I use both kinds the self-adhesive and the gummed glue… With different projects.self adhesive messes up my sewing machine needle it. gets it all sticky.but the gummed tape I can still sew with my sewing machine and does not effect my needle at all.

This looks like so much fun! I feel a little tempted to try it. I have been saving cardboard from cereal boxes and such, but just haven't gotten up the nerve to try this. Maybe now. Thank you. BTW, what kind of double-sided tape did you use to securely attach the cover and face plates? How wide is the gum tape that you used to stabilize the binding. I didn't know you could get it as wide as yours looks. I also love the ribbon (seam binding) closures!!!

Robin Here thank you, yes please give it a go😃😃😃 I’ll have to get back to you with the score tape and gumed tape... I got them both at amazon.
