So much less complicated than I kept trying to make it. I've never done one of your patterns but I can not wait to do this one! I've seen your patterns floating around a lot and omg amazing
I finished this up yesterday and it's turned out perfectly. The 1st yellow I made was from another pattern and it looked crap but urs is great. Im now on my 3rd one now but gonna continue it in to a full top. Thank u for sharing x
Yes I'm going to make this! I'll probably do a dusty light blue one and a pink one. I accidently ordered too much pink yarn from hobbii for a blanket I'm making 😅. Thanks for the tutorial! It's very clear and easy to follow.
Yay!! I'm so glad you like the tutorial, thank you so much! 🥰 Also those colors are going to look so great! It really is a perfect project to use up some extra yarn since it's so quick to make!
Thank you for this tutorial :) I used smaller yarn for hook size 4mm (I used a 5mm to make it looser) and I always chained 2 instead of 1, because I felt 1 wasn't a big enough gap for this smaller yarn. I also ended up having to chain 500 😆🥲
I’m making my first one but from a different tutorial. I already see my sleeve are different sizes…Your way looks so much easier…so I’m going to commit to finishing the one I’m working on now and make another one using you tutorial.
I would recommend to ppl to use a hook size or 2 down for starting chain as my 1st 1 of these looked baggy on that chain row. That imo of course tho, mean no harm by recommending this 😘
omg no worries!! Tysm for the recommendation! Everyone crochets differently so this could totally help someone if they are having the same issue! Thank you so much for the support! 🥰
Omg yay so excited you’re going to be making your patterns on here 🥰🥰🥰 thank you so so so so much! I’m gonna make your patterns for sure! 🖤 I’m still trying to get better at reading patterns, but seeing them done is just so much easier. 🥹
omg of course!! 🥰🖤 I thought it would be nice for that exact reason - learning crochet is so hard at first and I would love to try and help others if I can!
I like it a lot, it's soft and warm and the metallic finish is pretty cool, especially the dark blue one. But and it's a big one, if you need to frog anything it's gonna be hard, especially on small stitches.
Just curious have you made one out of chuncky yarn like Bernat blanket? I have the pretty purple color that would look amazing like this! But I don’t know how well it would work
I used almost four skeins of 5weight yarn using a 8mm hook. 400m or 436yd but I wanted it a bit oversized so you may need less if you measure it to fit tighter. Or more if you're adding length to the back and front panel after the sleeves are done, which I may do to add more coverage.
Sure! All I've done is measure the length of my arm span with a measuring tape. Then I make my starting chain that length. Then I would suggest adding a few inches on each side so the arms don't become short when you try it on. I did not have this issue, but I've seen a couple comments where folks did. I believe it may depend on what type of yarn you are using, or if you make the neck hole smaller, the sleeves will appear shorter.
