Due to popular demand, I finally decided to upload a tutorial on how to animate Gacha Life! This tutorial using After Effects will teach you how to set up a Gacha RIG for the most part. As a bonus, I teach you a little extra on how to animate your Gacha rig bettter. Once you're done, you'll have a fully rigged Gacha Life OC that you can start animating! ◄

For people that can't use AE : Use adobe animate instead ! It's way easier. Just cut out all the different parts of the character in a single png file, and import them in animate. All parts should have their respective layer. Now you can use basic tweens or motion tweens.

You need to reverse the direction under C Layers in Effect Controls :) Just mess around with the settings there, and make sure the "Sides" are correct too for each limb in C Layer (Effect Controls). This is all in the Tutorial btw, so if my comment is unclear, look over the tutorial once again :)

1. Are you able to disable it when you're not using it, so you can do normal editing? Or do you have to remove it from the folder? 2. Do you have to name the parts accordingly, and download them separately?

Connie Lie 1. You can close DUIK when you’re not using it, and after rigging the character, you don’t need DUIK on. 2. No you don’t, it’s just easier that way :) you can do it all technically with 1 file in After Effects and work around it but it’s just easier doing it my way

It might be because the newer versions of Gacha Life on PC/Mac removed the option... You could either use your phone and see how others do this part, or DM me on IG and I'll send you an older Gacha Life version that lets you PNG the body sheet :)

Try to get something with good CPU and lots of RAM. Video card doesn't help that much. A CPU with lots of GHz over one that has lots of cores/threads is better for AE. And 16-32GB RAM is ideal but if you can afford it, some professionals prefer 64GB ram XD. I use a i9-9900K @ 5GHz overclocked which is the best CPU for AE currently.
