Welcome to a new and really fast tutorial, this is the updated version of an old tutorial here on the channel that many people seem to follow but since I have "leveled up" my digital painting skills it's most likely not the greatest thing to do if you're trying to speed up your painting process.
If you're new to photoshop I still recommend it because I explain more in depth a lot of the tools in the program:

Hi! Although I already knew this, this video is very useful and I could have used it a long time ago as I really like the way you explain things, you're super clear and I'm glad new artists can watch this rather than discovering after ages like I did lol

Thanks! Yeah it took me forever to figure out the best way to do this specially because I’m not a fan of doing lineart and I don’t like the stiff look of the lasso tool or the weird edges when you use the bucket tool twice, the brush organic edges look better! Thank you for your comment!!

Thank you for the tutorial. I normaly use pen tool. Its slower but its more precise for me. Maybe ill reconsider haha. Great video. 😆

how do you remove the lines that come after using the wand tool? I've tried ctrl h and ctrl d too.

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, after using the wand you expand the selection and use the bucket tool twice to remove any white edge. To deselect I used the keyboard shortcut, in my computer is command+D but in a windows computer it should be control+D, control+H will not deselect only hide the selection. You can also use the bar menu where it says "Select" a drop down will appear and then click "deselect". If none of these work in your photoshop you can check the shourtcut list clicking "edit" and close to the bottom there's an option that says: "Keyboard shortcuts" where you can customize all your shortcuts.
