In this video I'll walk you through step by step on how to upload your Ads.txt file from Google AdSense to your root domain on your WordPress website. No coding or FTP knowledge required. You'll need to have admin access to the wordpress website that you're looking to upload the ads.txt file to - otherwise you won't be able to install the plugin necessary for this guide.

Thank you so much! It's funny because uploading an ads.txt file that I created locally on my desktop (with all the same publisher info) to the root directory didn't work for me. And that's one of the methods Google recommends, but I couldn't ever get the test to work to see it on its own code page. However, adding a "new file" named ads.txt file (as you show here) within File Manager and then editing/pasting the publisher info into that file did work. And the test worked immediately. Bravo!

Thanks Wiyre I get it done awesome!. Since long I'v been searching how to add items to the root directory. There are many many but not for the WP file manager. Today I had a issue for ads.txt searched more than 15 all for cpanel and other stuff finally i got yours well done. Makes my day. Now I can add many more remaining issues with root directory.
