For about 3 months, all payments of Admob earnings were held and not paid. The total of all those payments is around 100K dollars. Four days before the time of the payment of all that, the account got disabled because of invalid activity claims. Beware!!!
I have been at this all day! It is now past my bed time...grumble,grumble,grumble! After searching Google and You Tube and getting now where, and Word Press and Ad Sense didn't have the answer step by step on how and where to place my Ad Sense code on my WP site I saw your You Tube ad on the YT side bar and now I am a savy Ad Sense user....except that I tried so many times to set the code that Google said I had to wait 24 hours until I can try again! YIKES!.....But still if I could give you a million thumbs up I would. You are well spoken, played no loud music, gave information with out going too fast or being condesending. I thank sir with all of my heart. And with that, I am going to bed! Good night.....
GADS! I hate to keep bugging you (and BTW thank for your reply to my first comment) but I have an affiliate site (Amazon) and have only one page where I don't post products. It is on that page that I want my Adsense ads to appear in a blog format and can't figure that out. So far Google can't verify my site and will need to work on that too not to mention a whole new head ache with Google Analytics but that's for another day.....baby steps, baby steps :) Many thanks again for all you do! Lauren
Hi Lauren, no problem for replying, that's what I do :) Do you mean you want that one page to have a blog post and you want Adsense ads to appear in the blog post?
Hi Lauren, Once Google verifies your site you can create an ad unit in you Adsense account. Then Adsense will give you code to copy/paste right into the blog post. You can paste it anywhere amongst the text. Let me know how it goes!
Thanks so much for this! I have literally been trying to get this on my site for days and it seemed all the videos I watched contained outdated information. I have successfully added adsense to my site thanks to you!
Thank you for making this simple and easy! I've been going insane trying to figure out coding, this plugin is waaaaaay better than the one I was using!
I find getting any script to appear first is very hard unless you're editing the template files directly. I've also found that Adsense is pretty flexible and it's okay with the script not being the very first thing in section. So using a plugin shouldn't be an issue. I hope that helps :) Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for watching!
Hi Gee I just had a look around and come across this article www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-google-adsense-to-your-wordpress-site/ which explains how If you started using AdSense on one of Google's hosted platforms like Blogger or RU-vid, then you can change your AdSense account type and use it with WordPress. ...Regards Nickie (Bjorn's protege)
Best Adsense plugin ever! And no they don't take part in your Adsense earnings. "We Guarantee: This plugin does not do any revenue sharing with your Google AdSense ads." I purchase the pro version every year for multiple blogs! Saved my sanity,

WPLearningLab - I have never thought of doing this before, but a friend suggested I watch your video tutorial (which needs to be updated) and I found myself amazed at the ease of Adding And Installing WordPress AdSense into a WordPress site. Don't laugh, but in being totally honest, "I don't have a WordPress site or blog", yet. I do however plan to try my hand at building one. Do you have PLUGIN Suggestions for a WordPress site where I can upload and sell Digital Products Online (for a greenhorn
WordPress Tutorials - WPLearningLab I’m a new blogger and I just subscribed to your channel. My biggest hurdle is understanding SEO and how to drive traffic to my site 😣😔
Thank you for the video! I do have a question...and it might seem like a silly one. I'm starting a site...when is the right time to do an adsense account? Right when your are getting yoru site up and running or wait a few months till you actually have some wind under your wings? Let me know. I'd sure appreciate it. All the best.
According to the video you and I watched, WPLearningLab showed that his newly created site had the widgets and plugin loaded into the site from the beginning of its creation. Hopefully, this helps, and hopefully, I'm correct in this assumption.
Without a domain name and host you don't have a live website, so you can't put Adsense on it. Even if you use WordPress.com you have to buy a domain to get Adsense.
Ok, so i get that blank background, but I've waited about 24 hours each time before trying something else. I've tried different plug-ins, I've tried pasting the code for auto ads in the section, which didnt work either! I have also pasted ad unit codes in the widget box through wordpress lol, I have quite a bit of content in my blog posts and even have affiliate links.. Not sure what else could be wrong? Been battling this for days.. Any ideas?
It's still free for self-hosted WordPress.org sites, which I focus on in my tutorials. WordPress.com has a lot of limits in place that you can't get around with paying.
Thanks for responding. I didn't know about the self-hosted feature. Between this feature and purchasing the business plan, which one do you recommend; financially? Or you may have already talked about this in your vids so I'll dig more...
Hey, the three ads positions are still empty, and showing the colur but no ad, but ads appear at the very top and other places, does it have to do with something on auto ads? What should I do?
How do I set the background colour like in your video to show that an ad is there? Nothing is appearing in my element inspection either. Please help. Thanks in anticipation.
what could be the problem because my ads are not showing in the posts(using Wp quads)but the ones i pasted in the sidebars using custom HTML are showing
Thank you for your video and I have a question if you dony mind would you please tell me which software you using for video capture??? Thanks in advanced
Hi Melissa, I'm glad you got it all figured out. You can put adsense ads on the homepage, that's not a problem. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Hi Panduan, Usually the best way is to have a theme that allows you to add code to the header using the Customizer. Or you may have to add the code to your header manually. It can be tricky, but it's very doable. I have a video about editing the header.php file here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XCq475GzyR0.html I hope that helps :) Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for watching!
The Google Adsense initial procedure asks to put an ad in the header and it must remain so. Does an ad banner have to stay in the header at all times to use Google Adsense?
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’ve subscribed and I’ll be consistently checking your channel. If you offer any in-depth paid classes, please let me know.
Your theme should handle the title and put it at the top. Headings inside blog posts are done using the html heading tags. I use h2 for headings. It works like this: The heading I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Do I need to add my site under the sites tab? I followed this tutorial about 12 hours ago and the ads aren't showing. I got an email from Adsense saying, "The team has reviewed it but unfortunately your site isn’t ready to show ads at this time. There are some issues which need fixing before your site is ready to show ads." I think it might have something to do with the code I'm meant to add but I have no idea how to edit my site's HTML so I just used Site Kit... I think I might've messed up the steps from this tutorial by adding my site at the same time?
Hey, If we place an Adsense responsive ad in the AD1 Slot position 11:21 where you showed that the Free Plugin doesn't allow us to use responsive will the ad be still responsive?
Excellent video. I am already bald BUT I was in the process of pulling out what was left of my hair trying to figure this out. Do you have a tutorial on how to increase traffic to my site using WordPress?
I'm glad I could help save of your remaining hair :) I'm on a similar path to hairlessness, I'll get there in due time. I don't have a video on how to generate traffic to WordPress, but I have on in the works. My best advice is create content and pick ONE platform that you know your audience spends time on and share your content on it. For example, I started with just RU-vid as my main promotion vehicle. It takes time and consistent effort to build an audience, so you have to stick to it even when it looks like nothing is happening. Continually strive to get better on the platform you're focusing on and results will come.
I have pasted Auto Ads Code in this Ad Inserter but theres only 1 Ad at the Top instead there are other places as well to Place Ads but only 1 Ad on my site, How to fix it?
do i need a wordpress? how i can have one please? i donwloaded a winrar as it say it need to download, then i donwloaded an app u have mentioned but in wirar i can only check the file and folder but not showing the actual app... huhh pls help
@@wplearninglab So how long does it take to be approved? I created this account yesterday before watching your video. I did everything you did but I still have no adds just the yellow box. Any advice?

How do I prevent my website from previewing these ads? When I go to my Blog page the ads come up into the small summary of the article. How do I fix this? Thanks
If I understand correctly, Adsense ads are appearing on the blog listing page where there are short descriptions of each post and it lists all your posts. Assuming I have that correct, your theme is pulling the first part of article for the blog listing page. If that is also true, then there could be two solutions. 1. Move the ad lower down on the blog page. 2. Write an "excerpt" for the post in the "excerpt" metabox of the post editor. Some themes will show the excerpt on the blog listing page. But if there is no excerpt they'll show the first article. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
I have a question. I added sitemaps to Google Webmaster tools as you said. Yoast also has a new option called Search Console in their options, where you need to get a Google Authorization code to complete. Do I need to add that to my website as well? Regards, Ani
Hi Ani, Google Search Console and Google Webmaster Tools are the exact same. Google change the name to Google Search Console recently. So you only need the authorization code from Google Search Console. I hope that helps, let me know if didn't make sense!
Hi, I have followed along until 11:11 when I paste the code that Adsense gives during account setup it says "Can not parse AdSense Code. Is the code valid?" using the same plugin as you everything has gone smooth until this. Any ideas? Thank you
Hi Sean, The only thing I can think of is you may have copied more than the code from your Adsense account. Any additional characters can cause this error message. One the other hand, you may not have copied the entire code. A couple missing characters at the beginning or the end of the Adsense code can also cause this error. I hope that helps :) Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for watching!
@@wplearninglab Hi Thanks for your reply. No I copied it correctly, I added the code to the tags as google asks for and that has started the approval off. Once thats is sorted I will look into some more. Thanks again Sean
I love the plugin and all of your videos. You are my go to when I need help figuring something out. However, I use to have ads on by adding the code to the sidebar. It displayed my ads wrong and I removed it but now they are showing up again in the wrong areas. I only have the plugin displaying one ad but I have one in the sidebar and underneath my logo in the site header. Any recommendations on how to fix this? It is so frustrating! I have been putting it off for way too long.
Hi Ashley, I'm honored that I'm you're go-to for WP info :) It sounds like this could be a caching issue. Do you have any caching plugins installed? If you visit your site with a different browser or in 'private' mode, are the wrong ads still displaying?
i have some troubles (actually not a trouble, but for me it seems like a trouble). in my website, the ad shows on the header and its so annoying. how to remove that ads on the header? maybe you can check my website also and see what am I talking about. Thanks before sir.
Hi Aku, Adsense ads show up only where you set them to appear. So if you have ads in the header, that is determined somewhere in your settings or your site.
@@wplearninglab I think I am not putting any ads in my header. I just do the Auto Ads. and its appear. will you show me how to manage the ads location in my ads account? I am a newbie in google adsense. Thank you sir
I would leave it at 10 and if you notice something not loading in the right order or not loading at all then change the priority. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
thanks for the tutorial... i been going nuts here trying to figure out how to insert my google adsense code and this will make it easier. question tho and i hope you see it :-). I had installed Ad inserter plugin and as usual i don't know why its not working for my amazon affiliate ads so i am not using it. My question is can i just uninstall the Ad Inserter plugin and install the WP Quad? Also will it be ok to have Amazon Affiliate ads on your website "combined" with Google Adsense? Thank you again .
Hi Mitch, Deleting Ad Inserter and installing WP Quad is the way to go. You shouldn't have any issues. I haven't checked the Amazon Affiliate or Google Adsense policies recently (they change them all the time), but a while ago Google Adsense stated that if you use Google Adsense on a page, then no other ads are allowed to appear on that page. I don't know if that clause still exists and I don't know if Amazon had something similar. It's worth a bit of Googling. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
I'm still not clear about where I need to paste the AdSense code. I see the box where you said it should be pasted, but that seems very different from the AdSense instructions. It says I need to pasted on a page between header tags. Where is that page, and how do I get to it? It still seems like you have left out a step or something.
12:48 you said you added a background color to show you where the ad will be displayed ...I played it 3x and I dont see where this setting is located. Other than that; the vid is helpful. Thank you...
Hi Donna, Do you mean change the background color of your adsense ads? if so, you do that inside your Adsense account. There is a place to change the colors of the text, the clickable titles, the URLs and the background. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Hi, i already pass that all until i want paste the code into my WordPress but in my WordPress doesn't have "appearance" to edit my code. So when i see this video I try to download everything plug in but the file unavailable to be opened. Is it i need to download the appearance? Or open it on the laptops? But i guess i still need to download right? Im so confused. I follow the step but the end is still failed 😔
Good question. Appearance is in the WP Dashboard by default if you've installed your site from WordPress.org. All my videos right now use a self-hosted version of WordPress from WordPress.org. It's open source and free, but you do have to buy a domain name and a hosting account to make it work. So it's not free, but you're not charged by WordPress itself to build your site or add features. It sounds like you may be using WordPress.com or a developer has created a custom theme for you that removes the Appearance menu. If the options I'm showing aren't in your site then you probably have to pay WordPress.com for access to them. All the options come included in WordPress.org. I hope that helps :) Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for watching!
Hi Radha, It's not my plugin, just one that I use. There is a difference between ads being shown and ads generating clicks and revenue. Are you use your ads are being clicked on by your site visitors? If not, then there's no revenue.
Hi Flora, All my videos right now use a self-hosted version of WordPress from WordPress.org. It's open source and free, but you do have to buy a domain name and a hosting account to make it work. So it's not free, but you're not charged by WordPress itself to build your site or add features. It sounds like you may be using WordPress.com. They have always required a business account to install the adsense plugin. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Great video but when I enter code it's not accepting, it asks me for not to enter page level ads or auto ads, also the plug in does not really look the same
Thanks for the video, also, would you happen to know how to opt out of displaying ads on certain pages? for example, I do not want ads on my home page as to not push away viewers early on.
As you see, i follow you man, great job. I would like to help me. I have already a site and a blog(subdomain). I want to insert ads only in my blog. But when i go to sign up in google adsense, it ask me to insert a website. If i enter my site url but if i use the adsenses in my blog, it will be a problem? Help me man.
Hi Xalaris, as long as you put the Adsense code somewhere on the domain you verified it will be fine. You can put Adsense on just one page or post or all your pages or posts or anything in between. You may have to verify a subdomain. But Adsense lets you verify as many domains/subdomains as you want. As long as you're following their terms of service there is no limit as far as I know. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Putting the code between the head tags is the first thing I try to fix tis problem. There are some plugins like WP Snippets that make it easy to add content to the head section of your site. If you don't want to use a plugin like that, then you'll need to create a child theme and editing the header.php file in the child theme. The second option is much harder. I hope that helps :) Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for watching!
Hi Habiba, I think you're asking is there a better way to monetize a site than Google Adsense. If so, the answer is yes. Adsense is one of the easiest ways to make money with a website, but it is also one of the worst in terms of CPM. CPM being how much money you make per thousand visitors. Selling your own products is one of the best ways to make money on your site. And there are a bunch of ways to monetize that fall somewhere in between those two in terms of CPM. BUT, before you think about monetizing, you need to think about traffic. If no one is coming to your site then there is no way to make money. The motto I go by is "Traffic first, monetization later" I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
