You can also buy a hard filer with 80-100 grit It takes time because its not automatic But only if you want an option rather than e filer This is the best But if you can afford a drill machine or a removal then its ur choice🌸
Remember your skin does not like acetone! This should only be done once in a while when it is time to take off your acrylic/dip nails. Remember to rehydrate your fingers with cuticle oil and lotion after you’re done. This is really important especially in the long run.
the way her natural nails look is the main reason i don't get acrylics anymore. Like they're soo pretty but for me it's not worth it to destroy my natural nails
I dont know why others say her nails look fine. They look thin and raggedy. I have never gotten acrylics done and my nails look WAYYY stronger and healthier than hers.
Haha, got them done for the first time a few weeks ago and it was a terrible experience. Now I’m just letting them grow out and clipping them as I go along.
You're lucky if you can do this. If I let my nails grow out without any gel polish coat, they would literally be as thin as paper. And then they will bend in half and finally break.
Before I say this: No hate to the channel or others, just friendly reminders. I see everyone talking about the nails but no one mentioning that Acetone actually Should not be put on your skin. Acetone can cause redness, dermatitis, irration, pain, and even injury in rare cases. Yes it is safe to use in moderate amounts but you really don't want to put your entire hands in it for too long.
I was looking for this comment! I’m not an expert with chemicals, but my friend is, and one of the things I remember from calling him and watching him experiment and stuff is that pure acetone is dangerous and should not be put on skin!
It does. You should never let pure acetone touch the skin either the nail. You can perfectly file the acrylic with the drill without damaging the natural nail if you do it right and with the correct power. Also, there's specific products that dissolves the acrylic quick and safety.
@@iriiss03 acetone hasn't been found damaging to the natural nail by chemists and you think it is?😂 It's not damaging, it's extremely drying. Apply a cream or oil on your cuticles before soaking to protect your skin from drying out and when you're done hydrate again! Acetone cannot remove layers from your nails, this happens if you force the product off before it's soft enough
If you overfile them or scrape the remaining product violently it is, that's why you wanna do it correctly or get it done by a professional. If done right you won't harm the nails at all. Usually due to human error mine do get weak but that's on me and my naturally thin nails. Others with stronger nails wouldn't have an issue like I do.
@@i.8885 if you see the polish removals it usually never comes with pure acetone, because it's very damaging for the nail with over exposure. Of course if you do it on the right time and occasionally it's not harmful, but when you do your nails regular it will be. If you have thicker nails it probably don't get as weak as it would be with thiner nails, but it doesn't mean that it is not damaging. It's like the hair bleaching, it's damaging for the hair, but you can contrarest the damage with good quality moisturizing products (that not everyone can afford) and if you have thickest hair it won't damage as it would be on thin hair, but you need to have these other products, otherwise your hair would look dry, and if you apply the bleach again and again on your hair it will break it. It's simple. Why use a product that can be harmful for many of your clients if there's others specifically made for this process, and alternatives methods as well as the nail drill. You don't have to believe me, you said it yourself and you can prove it anytime, so 🤷
well my mom owns a nail drill and if the person using it is careful it won't hurt that bad. It only hurt a few times for me because my mother is no pro at nails lol.
It's not, it's easy to get used to but you need to know everything about speeds, drill bits, heat beforehand so you don't overfile or burn yourself from friction. You start doing it on yourself so you can feel everything and you learn from your mistakes.
I like how she said "Don't rip them off this time!" because she's seeing all those comments where ppl are getting freaked out by the fake nail being pulled out. 😂 Those nails were beautiful tho!
Right!! They were so pretty and I didn't see any grow out where you can see the nail bed. Maybe she was just tired of them and wanted them off, I don't know 🤷 lol
I was scared of it at first, myself, but when I tried it, it wasn't as scary as you think it is. It's just that you have to adjust its settings into the speed where you feel most comfortable with. You're gonna get used to it slowly.
So so bad for your natural nails. I love them and how they look and used to get them alot, but now that I'm older I just can't put my nails through that anymore. But they really look lovely on people.
@@bells_in_your_head What harms your nail is filing it too much, using bad products and taking them off the wrong way. If everything is done correctly, it’s not going to harm your nails.
The only thing about acrylics that’s hurts your nail is if they aren’t done right and the pressure of it on your natural nail bed. Gel, shellac, and dip are also harmful for your nails because of pressure causing the nail bed to be thin but they aren’t really harmful like everyone thinks
Im not a pro, but I love watching nail tutorials. And they always always say never to file your natural nails. That it's okay to leave a thin layer of acrylic or nail gel, especially if you're just going to put on acrylic nails again.
@@ytusabledariusyt1840 Nails are actually an important defense for your body. "Nails protect the sensitive tips of fingers and toes. We don't need our nails to survive, but they do support the tips of our fingers and toes, protect them from injury, and help us pick up small objects." So, no, they aren't just "dead cells".
@@luckytiggertalia I think you misunderstood my response, I never said they didn’t have a use, I said they’re just dead cells which they are. Shaving nails and removing them are two Different things
Y’all’s nails must be so thin and weak doin this process often. I love how long nails look on me, but there’s no way I could put up with this, I can’t even sit through that first file down where they drill your nails before putting the fakes on. Like if I could just have fake nails without ever getting a drill or acetone involved I’d be so happy. Guess imma stick to growing the reals out as much as I can.
I agree with you 100%! What I like to do is just embrace my natural nail length and use those nail stickers since I suck at actual nail art haha! I struggle to grow my nails out just because they never look quite right when I do and they gather dirt that is kinda hard to wash out from under the nail when they’re long. So my best advice is just to embrace the short and natural nails, it’s been most helpful for me to achieve healthier nails naturally ☺️
I love my long natural nails.. occasionally people ask me where I got them done and I say "Mother Nature 😌" and then they be like, "Where's that salon?" 😂😂😂
You can. every time I get acrylics I tell them not to file on top my actual nail. They do argue with you but they will still do it. They just file the fake nail after the powder is applied however the acrylics don’t last as long they only last like 2 weeks but your nail won’t be destroyed form the filing/ drilling thing.
I always use those kiss brand nails. Just slap em on myself. The most I got to do is file some glue off if the nail popped off from pressure, instead of just age.
@@suicidalthotss It's always been hard for me to grow my nails, but 10,000 mcg biotin pills have been so helpful! The brand I use is called Vispura, & you can get 1 year's supply (365 pills) for about $20. This comment is not sponsored lol. In my opinion, there is no point in getting fake nails just to damage your real ones. Getting fake ones to have "nails" means you're covering up the problem, not solving it, in the same way that putting foundation on won't undo the pimples your skin has.
i’m seeing a few comments about people saying her nails are unhealthy and she should stop getting acrylics. let her live her life. you don’t live forever anyways and your nails are gonna be unhealthy after time and nail polish and existing.
Yeah! Nobody should tell her what to do! Nobody should care her nails are so thin and weak that they could be a breeding ground for cuts, breaks, infections, etc.
@@fhsjdjskkshi it isn't unhealthy though. Nails aren't alive. They are keratinized cells. They are what your hair is made of. If using the correct techniques, you never file away your natural nail.
When I went to a salon to get them removed they cut the acrylics. Then straight up ripped them off my nails?! It hurt like a beech but I didn’t wanna say anything 😅 I just know to never go back.
The reason why you shouldn't do that is because you are also peeling off the top of your natural nail. The way the structure of the nail works is that cells are pushed up when new ones are produced on the bottom and the ones on top harden. So what you are doing is removing the hardest part of the nail and leaving softer nail that is more porous and able to absorb things that are harmful to you. Your nails then become brittle and if you go for another acrylic set, they will buff the top in order for the new set to stick, removing even more of your natural nail. Then acrylic and monomer is applied on a nail that has been thinned, monomer is absorbed into the natural nail and the nail bed and you have a perfect recipe for an allergic reaction. The moment you develop an allergy against the monomer, that's it. No more acrylics for you for the rest of your life. Can't cure an allergic unfortunately. Never go there again!!!!!
Omg that’s so satisfying I’m never gonna get those nails I can tell I will chop them off and anyways I’m not a girl lol anyways ur really helpfull for other people
I’m learning how to do nails I just got my drill yesterday now I’m waiting for my acrylic powder. I finally find a video to get straight to the point so thank you so much. Luckily I have a few clients in line any tips would be excepted for a newbie 💕
I'd rather suggest you to learn stuff like these from a trained/licensed person or from a licensed nail tech RU-vid Video, like that of Suzie's. This girl's videos are fun and all, but her techniques aren't quite.... right
As someone who gets like anxiety from pretty much anything to do with nails I need youtube to stop sending me things like this, I won’t be able to sleep now
I'm sorry bub. I have the same thing but w anything related to the heart. There's no real way to avoid stuff like that unfortunately. All we can do is try to quickly move past it when we see it if possible.
I thought this would be one of those fake videos where they pull the nail off and the finger starts bleeding because it supposedly “goes in your fingernail” but this was actually very satisfying.
@@kats.5958 I honestly don’t know where those videos are from, but most of the time people play pranks where they act as if the fake nail actually goes inside of your fingernail, but the hand is actually fake and it is a prank, I thought this video would be one of those but I appreciate you for not doing that!
@@ariannequiambao7510 it’s on Ana’s channel that she does those fake prank videos, personally as a nail fan I find it to be quite irritating but others enjoy it so it’s whatever she chooses to do!
As a doll customizer that works with asidtone, (and someone who doesn't know how to spell it) I would highly recommend to never soak your hands in asidtone as it will very much hurt and burn. Not your skin, (edit: future me here. It WILL hurt your skin) but under your nails. 😀
