Hey great video! What settings would you recommend for using the action cam with a photo booth. We would like to attach one to the top of our booth and edit videos with it afterwards. Thanks!
Sorry what I mean to ask is... should I record footage at 1080 60fps and edit it or 720 120fps and edit it? Which would look better do you think? Legends!
Boothability - Photo Booth Hire Melbourne Hi sorry for the late reply, just saw your post! It really depends what is your final film. Would you like a 1080p or 720p? I love 1080p because it's higher quality. I will compromise a bit on the frame rate but get a better quality video.
Hi watched your video with interest . Ive just purchased a Sony hdr -as 200v action cam which has the same spec as your camera , the format settings with resolution 1280x720 at 120p is the same except they dont call it supper slow any more . After recording and then playing back it will only play back at normal speed .Ive tried talking to Sony trouble shooters ,they only seem to want to send me an app to use to change to slow motion my understanding of your video is I dont need an app the camera should do this automatically, have you got any idears to help thanks
Amelia Godsell hi there. If you really recorded at 120p, but don't see it during playback, the surefire way to get the slow mo is to import the footage into a video editing software. I used Final Cut Pro X. I put the clip into a 25p timeline and changed the speed of the clip to 'Automatic Speed'
hi, on my as20 there seems to be no slow motion option, on settings->video i only have PS, HQ, STD and VGA no matter if steady shot is on or off. any idea what i am missing?
Is it a normal thing for the audio to go out of sync when playing back the slo mo footage? If so then is there any way to fix it? Or do you recommend turning off the audio when filming slo mo videos?
+CriterionArcher I think the audio is slowed down rather than going out of synch...? I don't think there's a way to fix this- if the audio is running at normal speed but the video is slowed down, there would be too little audio to fit the video. We usually discard the audio but you should have an option in your editing software to delete audio.
Yup, in my case the audio was running at normal speed thus my thoughts on having it out of synch with the video....So too little audio caused it? That explains...Thanks for the answer :)
