Cris Thankyou! I prefer rough animator at the moment for a few reasons - procreate limits the number of frames you can have depending on your canvas size, also I find the onion skin feature in rough animator easier to use! But tbh I haven’t animated that much in ProCreate, I need to test it out a bit more 😊

Ur videos are aesome i am new to rough animator and i found you. And i am learning a lot but it would be more helpful if u would have recorded it while making the whole logo animation den it would have been more helpful for someone like me who is totally a newbie. I am new to all of this and rough animator, so when you bring in the image, say “Chicago”, you erase it, so it looks like it is being spelled out, so do you duplicate it multiple times for each frame and erase parts of each duplicate starting at the back? Could you do a short tutorial showing how you do this?

Hi! I had a question about copy and pasting the stars flourishes? How do you do that? Can I do it once then highlight all the frames and move around the art board and down the timeline? Can’t seem to figure it out, thanks!

Jennifer Boddam yes sorry should’ve explained that a bit better! If you make 1 cycle of say 10 frames, (on an otherwise empty layer) then duplicate the layer, add blank frames before it to edit the timing, then select ‘edit multiple’ (top right) and select your 10 frames on the new layer, you can then move them around the canvas. Then if you wanna tidy up the layers, you can merge the layers together again (modify layers > merge down) Hope that makes sense!
