hey, my esp32 keeps disconnecting from bluetooth randomly no matter what. Its powered through a usb cable but it just disconnects from bluetooth even if the buttons led works. What do i do?

I once get the same result with a cheap bluetooth usb dongle. What bluetooth device do you use? if its the same, then you should try connect it to another device (maybe a laptop and try to leave it as long as it takes, to test it) or buy another usb blutooth with a better quality.

Hi there. Mostly case, it because the wiring is not correct. Or double check your soldering.

@@om_is_hobby i used directly wires to connect the pins, only to try, before soldering buttons... It seems that only some combination in the matrix works

redid all installation put the correct library, only ESP32Encoder needed to be updated to 0.6.0 now I can use up to 32 buttons, I would like to include a potentiometer, to put it as a clutch, would it be possible? otherwise thanks for the guidance.🤩

Glad you solved it. Btw, to add another potentiometer, it means that you have to add another code. If I'm not mistaken, it's possible, but honestly I'm not a coding guy, I just copy paste from others lol. Sorry cannot help you further

@@om_is_hobby I already compiled following the video, everything was correct, but when opening the game device, the controller appears with 8 axes and 16 buttons. I can't show you I'm using the esp32 cp2102 38 pin board and I tested it with the other esp32 ch9102x 30 pin

@@om_is_hobby The same thing happens to me. 16 buttons, no more. I tried installing old versions of the libraries - it didn't help. Were you able to solve this problem?
