Well done and thank you so much for giving all these information for free. But what do I do if my industrial machine cannot use any needle size bigger than 14. Size 16/18 don't enter my machine cause they're too big
Please can someone help me out. Since yesterday I haven't worked. I tried this and since then my needle doesn't pick thread. It keeps hitting on one iron I don't know and it breaking the needles
According to machine manuals, the curved/bumpy part of the needle is supposed to face the thread picker. So it is risky to have the flat side of the needle turned inside unless your sewing machine has that setting. Generally, most EMEL machines have the flat side of the needle facing the left or outter part and the curved/bumpy part faces in. We thread the needle through the flat side. I will advice that people should folow the manuals of their machines when it comes to needle placement. The curved side of the needle is curvy because of the needle picker. If I reverse the direction of my needle or not even screw it properly, it won't sew a thing. My machine is a EMEL 8500. I cannot find the screw you adjusted the needle bar with. The one I saw was for the presser foot. And it disabled the presser foot until I reversed the action. I was a littke confused by your video because those zigzag teeth-like part of your machine are different from mine so I could not see the parts you were indicating very clearly. Some videos online say that one should find ball-point needles, but where can one find it in our African markets? Suppliers don't even know the difference. I once searched for a size 10 to 12 needle until I gave up. Thanks for sharing, anyway.
Hello. Please come to my WhatsApp you are making Mistakes. The middle with bumpy flat side is HA and it’s for domestic machine not industrial. I will advice you check your needle model and read your manual carefully. Only your machine cannot be different from others. Machine don’t have limited edition. Please don’t confuse others.
