I have been testing the NINJA 2 with the WD blue 3d and it breaks the files up after a certain amount of time. Have you been getting one continous file or a bunch of smaller ones? I usually have to record broadcasts for 7 hours straight.
any ideas about recording the whole stream as a video file ? And do u know if the video we get by recording is better in the new ATEM Mini pro ? thanks
ATEM Mini won't actually record the video. You have to hook up HDMI recorder like NInja 2 or if going to USB on your computer, your OBS to stream from (whatever you're using) will actually record the stream and you can set the quality of your recording in the OBS. But yeah it will be a better recording than the stream. Thanks!
Or spend an extra $300 and get the pro which allows you to record the stream on a USB stick, or spend an extra $600 and get the iso which allows you to record each camera including the stream to your computer
Hi There, so it appears that you can record all the changes you've made with the video and audio and output it all direct to a external hard drive or computer for later editing & colour grading, so you don't have to live stream then...COOL VID
Yes, exactly. You can either use ninja or if going right to your computer with USB you can use OBS. on ninja or blackmagic using HDMI. Thanks for watching! Sorry for delayed reply.
