The cards felt good. Good thickness, standard finish on them. I did a standard bridge shuffle with the big deck without any issues. The canvas boards are great as well. The cubes are ok, the corners are a little chipped, but didn't affect anything. The other tokens are good.
It's subject matter feels incredibly relevant at the moment. I'm glad that games continue to evolve and showcase different stories and subject matters.
It's unfortunate that the solo AI cards don't have any event/story elements on them, but I supplement that by drawing cards from The Man's player deck to give context to each AI card played.
Thank you so much for this playthrough. I’ve been interested in this game since I first heard of it while it was in development, I think from Liz Davidson. Looking forward to playing it.
Thanks for a great playthrough. I like Watergate, a 2 player game with some similar "tension" tracks. It has no solo option, but this game has what appears to be an excellent easy to use, and hard to predict automa. I'm putting Stonewall Uprising on my wishlist. I'd pick up for a good price.
Thank you so much! It's very easy to operate, and like you said hard to predict. It really feels like a second opponent trying to thwart your every move. Unfortunately, you're not likely to find it cheap. I don't think it is in any regular retail distribution, and it's $70 from the publisher. I do hope you can find it for a more affordable price.
