I appreciate how straight forward this video is. No fluff, just only relevant information. I also really appreciated how you were respectful of your surroundings despite being trigger happy to test all the modes. Very well done.
I believe most should loop back into the controller, but it just depends on the location of the wire. This scooter is pretty nice in that they expose it for you in an easy to get to way, where you don't have to open the deck like a Dualtron.
Hello, I think some of the minimotors bits may apply to units using those settings, but most likely every scooter is different. TNE scooters look cool, hope you're enjoying it!
Dear AR: How do you you PULL the plastic tube from the base? I tried REALLY HARD but it wouldn't come out. I don't want to break any cables by accident. PLEASE HELP. And do you know what type of the plastic clamp is called? Thank you.
I seen Electra’s video yesterday on this Scooter!! It looks like a beast!! How would you compare to other scooters in this price range like the turbo wheel lightning and maybe the Dualtron Ultra?? and any other ones you have test driven?? Thanks Bro as always great video!!!! PEACE ☮️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The Currus is a really great machine for sure. Performance wise it's on the same level as the Dualtron 3. The Ultra is slightly more performant than the Dualtron 3 and Curus though. I do think that this is probably higher quality than the turbo wheel lightning, but it also costs a fair amount more as well. Overall I think this is a pretty solid package for sure.
good evening my friend i buy a currus nf scooter from freemotion i would really appreciate it if you could explain to me how i start the front wheel motor please I live in Toronto canada
Интересный аппарат. Хорошо что ты стал показывать данные скорости на экран , ещё выводи пожалуйста характеристики на экран . Буду благодарен :) Привет из России 🖐
Hi Alien Rides, Are you able to share how to remove the speed limiting wire on a Kaabo Mantis single motor? I have the soft settings but everyone is saying there is a grey wire but i can see it on mine. I picture of the location and wire or a vid would be much appreciated. - Drew (Australia)
Many mantis unfortunately did not come with a speed limiting wire. If you have the minimotors controller unit, there might be a single grey wire under the deck going into the square controller. I haven’t seen it myself though. You’re definitely in speed mode 3 though?
Custom Oakley Jawbreakers. I like em for riding with these kinds of MTB helmets since they're fairly large which can block the wind, and you also have options for different lenses.
Question. Had an accident on my scooter on Friday 4th October. Not sure Wat caused it. Cruised around to 3 Suburbs. Came bak home going bak and forth on my street. On level 3 turbo. Suddenly front wheel wobbled? Lost control and flew forward landing on my hands and front of my body. Scrapes to my hands as I was wearing thin gloves. Scrapes to my right elbow knee and hip thigh. Was wearing a hoody and long pants. Still managed to graze thru. Thankful for my helmet as it saved my head and face. The road was a ruff Tarmac. I was speeding. Silly me. I think I was doing 55kmhr as we have road humps on my street. My scooter can go up to 80kmhr on roads with no humps. I have attached a drink bottle holder that I put my UE Boom 3 speaker. Its attached on front side of stem bar. Can that affect stability? The road level was fine. Trying to figure out Wat happened?? Definitely going to buy padded long pants and jacket. Better gloves too. I also have separate knee elbow and wrist pads. Which I stopped wearing
Really sorry to hear about your crash. What kind of scooter, was it a Currus? Do you know if you hit a bump or hump before the crash? it's hard to say what the cause could be without being able to see video. Normally extra weight on the handlebars are ok, but the key is to be able to maintain balance and steering in the case of a bump or pothole. If your handlebars turn a bit after a bump it can cause a fall.
@@AlienRides All good Thanks. My Scooter is a TNE Q4 V4 plus 2600w single and dual motors turbo/eco. I never hit a bump or the road hump. It happened after clearing the road hump. Scooted a little further. Maybe my handle moved slightly as you said. Maintaining stability and all. My Scooter still running fine I hope as I placed it on a stand and ran motors. Single and dual. Will take for a test drive or to the sellers I bought from for them to test if any problems?
Tonga Cooks if it rides ok after the fall it’s probably fine unless you notice any specific problems. Hard to say but it sounds like the fall may have been due to mis-alignment after the bump. It’s tricky but you have to consciously try to keep the handlebars straight over bumps and jumps, so both wheels land straight. Maybe try to take some bumps at different speeds, slowly increasing to get a hang of maintaining handlebar alignment.
Hey, Guy's. I had a question about my 3200 67.2v scooter. If I new how to leave a picture I would. But, I wanted to unlock its maximum potential. I'm 220 and have reached 50mph. When I free rev it it says 56mph on turbo dual mode. Any information will help tremendously. Also, I took off the top plexiglass led deck but the next plate covering the batteries is like glued shut and I cant get it off without breaking something. Please help
I don't think your scooter is speed limited. Most likely 50mph is the max you will reach on a 3200 watt scooter. Most manufacturers inflate specs a little bit. That's a pretty impressive speed for sure though, so congrats! If you're looking for a faster scooter you'd really need to look to the Weped SS or Rion right now.
Check out the Rion RE90, one of my favorites. I haven't done any ride videos on it yet, but hope to soon. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6KW3NBxKRIM.html
Hi again..I received mine few days ago. It looks good, speed is enough I'm 189lbs and o hit 38-40mph. I've bought the whole lights for it too, even with those LED lights, it needs lots of work to be able to get the Weped look. But thanks for review, hopefully I'll come see it one day soon;) cheers Turlock CA
@@AlienRides I'm still waiting to get the lights in(on their way from Korea), but can't find a external battery for them. Their own external battery (the red one is $350). I got the whole set, for deck, fork, stem, and deck sides. And I will be adding u7 lights in the front :)
@@AlienRides to be honest it's a long story on the battery situation as they are not able to direct me to an alternative battery..how can I get ahold of you to send pics?! #IG aka_v10
Do you need license and registration when riding these things that exceed 30 MPH speed limit on public roads that you share with cars, or are the police going to pull you over if your riding an unregistered vehicle that can keep up with cars? I live in Ohio by the way if that’s any indication to you, and I have a 9 mile commute to my seasonal job and I need a well made durable scooter that can take me there as efficiently as my car and one road I go on goes up to 50 MPH but has less traffic?
It depends on local laws, but most places require you to have a drivers license. Personally, I've never seen it enforced though. Most streets are fair game, except for highways and freeways.
Alien Rides Can I make a request for you to make a review of the KAABO Skywalker 10S without the LED lights at the bottom? Or do I need to make a contribution to your patrion or something? Because it’s either the Currus NF or the Kaabo Wolf Warrior as a consideration though I want something more cheaper as I’m getting an E-bike this year and don’t want to over embellish on my savings and have to finance 4 K out of my savings as my parents would have a fit.
@@thomassmith7466 Thanks for the Patreon offer, I'd rather see you save that and put it towards a scooter for now, but maybe some day! 😅 I have a lot of scooters on my list to review, and not sure I'll get to all of them, but I'll add the Skywalker 10S to it! The Currus and Wolf Warrior are both awesome scooters for sure! Another mid-range option might be the Mantis as well, what do you think of that? fluidfreeride.com/products/mantis-advanced-all-round-powerful-electric-scooter-long-range?variant=29448411021381&ref=21
Alien Rides That was actually more of a question on if I needed to make a contribution to your patreon or not really? I have considered the Mantis as well, but the one thing that turns me off about it, not matter how trivial it might seem, is the lack of a front head light, though I guess that could be remedied by a bike lamp that you can clamp on the turning handles bars? Do you have any recommendations on that?
@@thomassmith7466 donations are not required, and I don't know if I can get a skywalker unit yet, but I can ask. As for headlights, most scooters don't have a very good set, so even if they do I recommend you buy a better one. I like the Gemini Titan lights. I like them because they have a low profile, are super bright, and sport a convenient battery pack. They're not cheap though. amzn.to/36zm6Qd
For the speed unlock specifically, or something else? We did the speed unlock previously here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wGRkU8AWo14.html
