I am 75 years old. I’ve lived in this house since I was 10. When I got married I was able to change things around to accommodate for my children. We have been married for 55 years and have 9 children and 24 grandchildren and 2 great grandkids. This space has gone thru lots of shifts in designs. These paper houses are easier on my back and my pocketbook. Decorating is my addiction.❤❤❤
wow! your house is full of memories for sure! I have 4 children and it has been quite a challenge I find so, 9 children? wow!! I hope you never feel lonely! oh yes! decorating is my addiction too :)
My dad is one of 13 children..he told me it got "easy" as older children were moved out.. as babies were coming in. There are cousins older than their own aunts and uncles😂. Some siblings never lived together, is the case for my husband who has 5 siblings also.
They so truly enjoy everything you make even though I don't do arts and crafts I'm more of a painter but I certainly love to relax and look at all the pretty things that you make good job
Anne, LOVE your tags! So creative. Suggestion: Instead of wasting so much beautiful lace for the back of the house; why don't you cut your lace lengthwise and use them to attach to the backside of your house tag rendering you an extra piece of beautiful lace.😁👍
It all works, I have a lot of that lace so I didn’t care but also, il is an open spine journal so, the look is a bit different but yes, for sure, we have so many ways to create and spare some laces. :)
I adore how you created this particular style journal using the corrugated cardboard! Mixing and matching is alway the best part 💜🌸 I’ll post most recent one I’ve made using this kit !! For summer I’ve incorporated your “Birds & Roses, shabby chic kit “ absolutely darling !! You can actually use all of your kits to create these sweet houses - I too keep my bits and pieces in a separate “houses ephemera book “ I created for them These are used most often when I just want to “play” ( which lately can be often out doors in my sun room over looking the beautiful garden & lake ) I also spend time slow stitching there !! I actually printed some houses and roofs on fabric ( a white broadcloth ) Love them n look forward to seeing them completed !! Again brilliant using the cardboard instead of card stock !! In love !! oh! printing on fabric! That gives me ideas! … of course, we can use any design papers to create little houses or add to them, that is the beauty and simplicity of the little houses :)
Thanks so much and welcome to my channel :) and these Little houses are so fun and easy, relaxing to make with the kit! no need to overthink, find papers with the good size of fonts or design or colour … just cut, glue and play :)

I could not even imagine myself when I created the kits, I got hooked myself 🙈 for sure, I wanted a all included kit, where we do not need to find papers, scraps etc … just playing! And also, you will realize that you can use those digitals for almost everything you do as well with all those pieces of paper. :)

Die Häuser sind so entzückend, besonders die mit den Hunden und Katzen. Habe sie letzte Woche gekauft und sie sind schöner als ich dachte. Habe auch ein Journal für meinen Hund und eins für meine Katzen und kann nun die Häuser in die Journals einfügen. Ich habe früher so gerne mit meinem Puppenhaus gespielt, es erinnert mich ein wenig daran. Man beginnt zu träumen, es ist so eine heile Welt. So süss.
