just bought the jacket, and they no longer add the outlet adapter WTF. a note in how to charge said "it is no longer included as part of their environmental goals"

I just got my coat this morning. Let it charge all day. Went to take the dogs for a walk in the blistering cold temps. Turned the battery on and turned the coat on. It circled the colors and then went red. Then circled the colors and then went red. Then kept turning completely off on our walk and NEVER heated at all! 😭

Is the battery pocket on the inside front or back?

So do I have to leave the battery in the pocket connected to the hoodie?

What is the power button on the battery used for? It’s not needed to charge the battery or operate the vest.
