This is the most complete audio interface for beginners! Is the most featured pack interface. The software included is KILLER. The only thing separating it from a pro studio interface is the lack of ADAT. But if you don't need or plan get more channels THIS IS THE INTERFACE TO GET! It DESTROYS THE COMPETITION!
For me it is the soundquality and the low latency even when used with multiple interfaces at once (Asio4all). The sound is so balanced and yet so clear and full, but without having a lot of high frequencies (focusrite) or a too dense sound (steinberg). It doesnt want to be something special or sound somehow crazy good at the first moment but just make a very good sound wich you can hear in the long run. And the drivers are very uncomplicated and you can just plug and play even on your smartphone. Really looking forward for it after 1 year of waiting... (I tested the minifuse 2)
I think it would be cool to have a demonstration of loopback for these Minifuse interfaces, perhaps in some creative sampling situation. Seems to be one of the features that gives the Minifuses an edge above from some others in this price category, particularly when comparing Minifuse 2 to the likes of the Scarlett 2i2, Volt 2, etc.
@@philosyche yes! at least on macOS all you need to do is change a couple settings. the steps are clearly explained (for Mac and Windows) in the user manual
I do notice images online have the labeling for the monitor outputs as 1-4 instead of 4-1 like in the video... which is actually the correct order when the audio interface is facing you on the desk
That is one of the greatest review on the RU-vid and I was thinking to upgrade to MF4 and now I'm definetely gonna do it! Arturia's quality is top notch. Thanks Arturia!
Was looking for something to ipgrade from my 4 year old focusrite interface with 2 headphone input, now I am sure I know what i will be buying. I love every aurturia product.
A question. How can you drive volume of output 3 and 4? I guess from Control Center software. I need that to play live. One stereo output to main PA and one stereo output to my monitors. I need independent volume setting, of course. Many thanks
Beautiful looking interface too which is important. My question is, I have 600 ohm studio monitor headphones, will they work without needing a headphone amp?
Please don't tell me that you also dropped the direct monitoring knob, just as Focusrite did with Scarlett 3rd gen? It's like you like losing customers
Love the interface, best one I've ever had, BUT! For some reason, when connecting two headphones, only the first one is heard, the second one is completely silent. Any idea why this is, or how to solve it?
So, if you connect a KeyLab MkII through one of the USB Hub inputs to your computer, it will be as fully integrated into V-Lab as it would be with a direct USB connection, right!??
Good morning, Arturia. I join the questions of my predecessors, namely: @HIDARI, @shivercanada, @Don Vittorio Sierra. The official "MiniFuse 4" power for headphones is 33Ohm / 137mW. but in the user manual there are other data: 33ohm / 420mW. Is this the maximum power for one or two pairs of headphones? I am also interested in the Audiofuse Rev.2. And here I am asking for information for headphones above 250ohm? I greet and wish you further success.
Does this device show up as a set of extra outputs in Windows, so I can still play RU-vid tutorials in a web browser even when Ableton has hogged exclusive use of the computer's standard outputs?
Only 2 Digital Outs? Can the Send position be made Pre-FX on a Standalone APP to monitor tracking with no latency (as direct) but enjoy ambience? This is essential for Guitar & Bass as the Line6 Toneport/Studio UX2 has...
Hmm... UX2 has 4 Digital Outs for this. Can it not do same? Not use Guitar Rig Standalone with Direct tgen record both Dry and Wet via 4 Digital Outs???
can anyone please tell me where at the back of the minifuse 4 do u connect to the Arturia Keylab 88?... basic questions like this is still a mystery for a dodo wanabe musician like me.....thanks...wil appreciate
I've just been using a friend's MF4, and no, I don't think so (I have MF1). You don't even need the power brick for MF4 -- all it does is provide a little extra power for any devices chained from the two USB thrus on the back of the device if you're using a non-USBC connector to the computer.
@@Musicbymagz My Minifuse 1 definitely does not give enough to the dt990 pro 250 ohm in fact it is just borderline enough for the 32 ohm dt880. It is not close to even a JDS Labs atom for example which I use externally coming from the minifuse. So either the 4 with the plug is better than the 1 or you are just accepting the bare minimum volume and dynamics to be fine.
@@donvittoriosierra oh yes i meant the dt 990 with the minifuse 4 of course, i used to have the scarlett solo it didn’t give the 990 power at all but when i switched to the minifuse 4 it was like a miracle 🤣
Looks a bit like the iConnect Audio 4 from years ago without the possibility to connect 2 computers. Is the audio quality better? Rather get the iConnect.
Una pregunta. Tiene alguna entrada estereo la minifuse 4? Pregunto para conectar la salida de "Phones" de mi amplificador Fender Mustang I v2 a la minifuse
Can i choose which output i can listen via headphones? For example: mix 1 --> 1&2 output in monitors And mix 2 --> 3&4 in headphones? Need this to create alternative mix for better hearing while singing just for headphone monitoring, while main mix sends to main speakers like on komplete audio 6 there is a knob for headphone output monitoring 1&2 OR 3&4
Guys I'm seeing that my minifuse 4 is like, loud. When I play music is like it's sending very loud signal like almost distorting (Actually it's not but it's like more loud than the normal level I'm used to). Is this normal or do I have to configure something in the MiniFuse Control Center?
Can I ask how to use on windows backing track, like from RU-vid and play through vst plug in? I have error here - when I open my plug-in - it works well but music for backing track stops and it looks like device is busy to play music... On universal audio volt1 everything works well, now I am upgraded and stuck here cause I cannot use multiple apps with minifuse 4
Mi MiniFuse se desconecta cada vez que el ordenador entra en reposo. Debo desconectarlo y volverlo a conectar para que el sistema lo reconozca. Igual me equivoque al comprarlo.
Can i work with a headphones 250ohm of impedance in the Minifuse 2?? What is the maximum impedance of headphones that the minifuse can handle ? Not many people talk about this and i think it's important
Three things lacking here 1. Separate 48V phantom power on different inputs. If you're using a condenser mic and a ribbon mic for example, the combined phantom power will damage the ribbon mic 2. Direct monitoring knob. Why on earth would you get rid of it (while the MiniFuse2 still has it) is beyond me 3. The metering, i.e. the blinking on the gain knob. Not a big deal breaker, but could be more clear
wouldnt you if you have a ribbon mic should be using a better audio interface altogether?... I mean I think this is a budget oriented interface; I guess we can't always have all the features in one affordable device (imo).
Copy the defunct Novation Audiohub 2x4 in this same style. Instant buy. Dj/electronic types don’t need to waste money on fancy mic inputs; just adds too much cost and size.
Great bit of kit with one big thing missing. With so many of us using iOS to make music, why isn’t there an app to control the functions of the mini fuse while it’s attached to a iPad?
