Kylie K I think he does care. One of the reasons he left the show after series 2 was that he was not happy with everyone calling him William in the street and didn’t want to be associated with his character forever. Though that’s just something I read online and I don’t know if it’s 100% true, it’s a common thing for actors and actresses at the beginning of their careers.

I am the only one who cringed every time she called Thomas 'William'? Like idk but I feel like if I were him I'd get really annoyed by that, especially as she's an interviewer so she should be professional and call him by his actual name, not just the name of his character.
