I’m glad you do these type of nostalgia videos! It’s a really good way to connect with your audience. I remember being so happy when I ate those. I always coalesce them with sleepovers and staying up late playing Nintendo 😂
@blakfloyd

These definitely take me back to 1990-92. We were too poor to get these on a regular basis but I'd eat these when I was at my aunt's place cuz she said it was cool to have whatever I wanted in the fridge or pantry when I'd babysit my cousin. These went great with Juicy Juice which, coincidentally, really doesn't taste worth a damn to my adult taste buds.
@thestwinner680
@thestwinner680 5 лет назад
@@blakfloyd Yeah, I remember - EVERYTHING tastes fun and good, and different when you're a kid (and also experiencing new tastes and/or certain combinations for the first time), plus with all the targeted brand advertising hype (your favorite cartoon characters etc.), but *in that sense* that this frozen, microwavable fast food isn't all that healthy and tastes nothing other than shit LOL, *you were lucky* to not afford it on a regular basis (your body thanks you, unless you made up for it later or in some unhealthy/innutritious way...) ;P

Erin Plays becomes "Erin eats a year's worth of sodium in one video" :)
@Theseus9-cl7ol
@Theseus9-cl7ol 6 лет назад
Salt is good for you ya know. The human body needs salt intake, or else you will grow goiters. The level of salt you need is related to the level of water you drink. Stop with the anti-salt propaganda, your body needs it.
@Nuisance_Bear
@Nuisance_Bear 6 лет назад
The correct amount of anything is "good" for you. The issue is this stuff ALWAYS has a ton of added salt. Totally unnecessary. A can of spaghettios has over 1000 mg. Don't try to tell me that amount is "good for you".
@battra92
@battra92 6 лет назад
Sodium can kill tge monsters from Party Beach so maybe she's just protecting herself.
@officialclownbusiness7788
@officialclownbusiness7788 6 лет назад
What's good for you depends on the person. For instance, I have had extremely high blood pressure and heart problems since junior high, plus I get dehydrated VERY easily, so I don't even keep salt in my house. I get my sodium intake from canned foods, ramen noodles, and beef jerky instead, because adding salt as a seasoning could literally give me a heart attack. Our bodies need sodium, yes, but too much is almost as bad as smoking, and it's used as a preservative in damn near everything anyway.
@thestwinner680
@thestwinner680 5 лет назад
@@Theseus9-cl7ol Himalayan or sea salt is definitely more preferable than the white chemistry set you buy for your kitchen. Should look into that, since you're all for salt (what you're saying is mostly true though, all in all).

I never had a kid cuisine growing up. I think I remember my little sister eating them though. My parents wouldn’t buy them often. I so hate it when I pick up a frozen meal I thought looked, well edible, and it comes with elaborate prep instructions. The whole point of getting them is for the days I'm too overwhelmed, tired, or lazy to make real food, and then they expect me to jump through hoops for their garbage? GTFO Lost my shit at that brownie, WTF?! Don't blame you for not even trying to take a bite, but you know if you had and inevitably chipped a tooth you would've had irrefutable video evidence for a lawsuit that'd be an open and shut case $$$ Fun video! Man, the lengths you're willing to go for your channel and audience, that's some real dedication, and may God have mercy on your colon for it.

The video you have at the beginning with the flashing of all the variety combinations in the same tray was the ad I saw on TV when I was about 4 in 1990. I was so gullible, I actually thought it was magical, and would 'change' before your eyes like that in real life. One time I visited my grandma and she said I could pick whatever I wanted at the grocery. I pointed to this product - because my parents never bought it, and boy was I excited! I still remember asking my grandma when I sat down to eat it, ' will it Change?'.. She's like, 'will it change?, what the hell do you mean?' I didn't have much of a vocab at 4, so I just repeated the question and we were both very confused by that short conversation. It broke my little heart. She never saw the commercial! Anyway, that undersized piece of shit frozen tray of garbage never 'Changed' for me.. Like pepperidge farms, I still remember very clearly, and yes, i'm still pissed lol
