Lunchables were about a decade too late for me. I remember seeing them at the grocery store and thinking that all of the components must pretty much taste the same. It’s really just one big sodium bomb. You need a few more Capri Suns to wash it down. That said, what a fun video. I learned about the Lunchables experience and LOL’d a lot. Hope you’ll do more non-gaming related stuff like this!! 👍🏻

The kid with lunchables was truly the envy of the lunch table, good times. Unless of course, someone's parents brought them McDonalds.

I remember those pizza and nachos... I would beg my mom to get my them so I could be the coolest kid at school and then ended up sneaking them all in my belly on the weekend! Capri sun was the coolest drink on earth because no matter the flavour, it was clear! Mind=blown. Glad to be a part of your favourite video game video on Nerdy and Squirdy’s channel! The Jackalope is also super 90s to me. I remember when both Bob Sagat and Dave Coulier from Full House had America's Funniest... shows at the same time. Coulier's pretty much had a rabbit with antlers as the mascot, for whatever reason. Yeah, I loved the pizza one. I liked the meat, cheese, and crackers when I was a kid, but I can still remember the taste of the cheese on those and it doesn't appeal to me at all nowadays. It's so bad nostalgia can't save it. I don't think my mom let me eat the nachos one very often because, come on, it's nachos.

As a kid I used to love sponged bread with raw tomatoes sliced all over the surface, with a little salt, olive oil and basil. It was a blast, basically a fresh, fast and summer pizza. I also used to love lemon tea, so much.

You know, I'd have to say to myself, "Why would I want to watch a video about Lunchables?" Yet, I was thoroughly entertained. So much so, I'm driving to my midnight convenient store for Lunchables. What evil are you spreading, Erin? Ah... processed meat and cheese.

My dream has been answered a nostalgic video dedicated to Lunchables! My grandmother insisted on me microwaving the little pizzas. I was too old and thought the very idea of lunchables were disgusting, so to this day I have never had the interest to try them. Also, watching you relive your childhood through that pizza snack was neat. :)

God, I'm old...I remember when they had taco, cheeseburger, and hot dog ones that came with cans of soda in them lol Used to plow through taco, pizza, and nacho ones while I watched Goosebumps, Scariest Places On Earth, and Real Scary Stories haha

I remember walking tacos being a staple of convention volunteers, since most of them didn't have a lot of time to sit down and eat lunch. I'm pretty sure that was before they were available as Lunchables. Now, if only someone invented walking showers...

Surprisingly (or not), I totally forgot that Lunchables existed till I saw them in the grocery store about a year ago. Then decided to get some to see if they were as I remember them growing up in the 80's, and 90's. They were not bad, but I stuck with the classic Ham, Cheese, and Crackers. They are okay in a pinch, but they are not that great either....

Nice video! I don't think I had these myself, but we do buy them for our daughter today. It's hard to believe you are a child of the 80's ... you look so young :-)

I remember Lunchables a bit early 90's but mostly mid and late 90's. And kind of early 2000's. When I was little boy and early teens in the mid and late 90's, I use to eat Lunchables.

Lunchables were and still are the fucking tits. Now, I've only had the pizza one once, only once. Sadly, I don't recall my experience, just simply because it was that long ago, and I don't remember ninety percent of those times. I never had the nachos; that actually sounded gross to me at the time, and I remember that clearly. Yuck. I'd rather have Doritos instead. lol My favorite Lunchables are ham, and turkey; no need for much more than that. Capri Sun pouches...yeah. I've had that fucked straw pierce the back or bottom of the pouch more times than I can count on both hands. Sticky, messy, frustrating, wasteful, and scream inducing if I was in a nasty mood already... But when I had a good pouch of Capri Sun, it was better than Kool-aid, at least it was back then; Capri Sun tastes more like flavored sugar water (like fucking Gatorade - fucking gross) than a refreshing drink to me now... Ahhh...the joys of being a twat...lolz

I actually did pick up a Lunchable pizza and tried it out. It was surprisingly unchanged. It still made me say "I can't believe I used to put this in my body" though :p

I ate the ham & cheese, and the turkey & swiss lunchables. I loved and still like the ham & cheese. I never bothered to try any others, and they came around when I was almost in college. Your personality is adorable and fun to watch, Erin, and you're a beautiful girl so thanks for these videos.

This is such a strange video. Not in a bad way of course! Just looking at some of this food! Who comes up with this stuff? Uploaded? It’s funny because kids can kind of tell when an adult is trying to hard to be cool but very likely whoever came up with that was from Gen X or Y and surely should know better! Walking Taco? I still eat the Pizza ones regularly at age 33, haha. Tip: Heat them in the microwave for like 30 seconds on high, just until the cheese melts. I liked the hot dog ones, too.

My favorite was the deluxe lunchables. It came with crackers, 2 types of meat and 2 types of cheese. Also came with a Dijon mustard packet and an Andes chocolate mint. I’m guessing they’re discontinued now because I never see them in stores.

I still miss the herb butter that used to come with the large ones when i was a kid .

5:38 Dat moment when your sense of taste and smell trigger long forgotten memories of childhood to come flooding back to you in an instant. Haha, wonderful! Hells yeah I 'member these!~1 For me pizza lunchables were one of those things where I fell hook, line, and sinker for the marketing and was in love with the idea far more than the actual product. I'd get one for lunch every now and then and be so happy about it up until that first bite and then.. disappointment. I mean, I thought it was ok, it was just never as good as I imagined or remembered. Cookie crisp cereal was another thing like that for me, except even worse. I remember every time I'd ask for it I'd have to plead with my Mom, she'd tell me no because she knew I'd get sick of it long before finishing the whole box, and I'd beg and always be like no, this time it's going to be different, you'll see. But sure enough she was right. In hindsight I should've just packed old leftover slices of pizza for lunch and secretly replaced the cookie crisp with mashed up chips ahoy to have for breakfast, I mean in both cases it would've been (for me, anyway) the superior and just as (un)healthy option, but no, I was a fucking dumb kid. Well, that and there was probably an element of group think and wanting to fit in going on.. Caprisun was the best though, I can't remember the last time I had one but I do recall I used to love to freeze 'em, place the frozen block into a bowl, and then scrape away at it with a spoon. It was such a sublime treat on a hot summer's day! Good stuff, damn good nostalgia going on, I'm definitely looking forward to more of these EDIT: It just occurred to me that I should probably change my thing to a down vote for the mortal sin of not using Panic Restaurant music at all in the background to this video, and here I thought it was your theme song by now! Overpriced and gross. I grew out of them really quick. Got them a few times when they first came out, that was the end of that. Haven't ate one in like 20 years or so lol. I hope you enjoyed your Liner :)

I used to make giant tower sandwiches out of the normal ones and try to unhinge my jaw like a snake to eat them all at once. My favorite was the taco ones even though the meat smelled funky.

Fruit Snacks!!!! Lunchables!!! That pizza was amazing if you stuck it in the microwave for a few seconds. I didn't eat a lot of them though. Hmmmm... My high school had a very good traveling taco and that was probably my favorite thing to eat as a kid. it would be a bag of Fritos with a scoop of taco meat and then I would just add my tomatoes lettuce cheese ect, into a taco yum yum mini mountain and then inhale/gobble it down with a fierceness.

I still miss Dunkaroos though. I never really liked Lunchables too much back then but the pizza one was okay. Capri Sun is and always will be the best to me.

Erin, you are right, melted cheese does taste different. When heat is applied to cheese, it causes the lactose to become more concentrated.

32 here and I still buy thses just the pizza and ham/turkey lunchables. Usually stock up whenever they going on sale for a dollar.

It's so sad that they don't sell Lunchables in Germany anymore😔 Loved them as a kid in the 90's. Same with Kraft Mac&Cheese dinner and many other cool american products that are gone. Yes you can order some imported stuff online, but that's just not like going into a supermarket and buying stuff directly.

I have not had lunchables in over 25 years now. Back then, I sometimes would actually microwave the pizza lunchables.

My mom wouldn't buy lunchables for us. She made us sandwiches every day. I occasionally got to trade for part of a lunchable but that was the exception. I was able to get lunchables more as a teen because I had a job and could buy them myself. I tried lunchables again last year and the original ones are still good, with the ritz crackers but the pizza ones are rubbish. They weren't bad, but I liked the turkey ones a lot more than the pizza and nachos.

In elementary school, my classmates and I would "snack" on uncooked noodles. Not the "cup" noodles but the "square" noodles. We would just crush the noodles and sprinkle the flavor packet in the bag, and toss and mix. Yum!

Erin boasts a channel with a higher nostalgia per second than anyone else on RU-vid. A lot of this stuff, I was too poor to get when I was a kid, but it's cool to see and hear about, still... Like lunchables. My mom gave me carrots, buttered Texas toast, and celery for lunch every day. NO ONE wanted to trade with me!

As a kid i would eat Lunchables. Usually had the ham,cheese and crackers or turkey,cheese and crackers. I tried the pizza one bsck in the 90s and didn't like it. Now I'll eat a Lunchable at work for a snack every now and then.

One of my fav memories is watching a joust at King Richard’s Faire in 5th grade (1996ish) sitting on the grass eating Lunchables pizza.

My gross kid takes one to school at least twice a week. It’s better then having to wake up early and make lunch for him. Great video, nothing beats watching someone awkwardly eat testable food. For some reason I’m drawn to awkwardness.

We have basically the same thing in the UK where it's called Dairylea lunchables because it uses the pretty disgusting, in my opinion, spreadable Dairylea cheese.
