Eternal gratitude to our esteemed general Tekeste for such a fascinating narrative. Also, many thanks for Sened interviewer for his competent, well paced and researched interview. These interviews are detailed historical records of Eritreans’ military history. The General has an amazing mind and a graphic recollection of events. It gives us an overall picture as well as the inner workings of the military effort. What makes his narratives so gripping is that the General is very direct and mentions dates, times, people and his own as activities and thinking then and now. What a great testimonial for himself and all those incredible Eritrean heroes. Much, much respect for this true hero as well. A small point: it was so delightful when the General began laughing while he was reminiscing about a comrade and a particular incident. This writer, wished that the interviewer had allowed some space for General or perhaps asked a follow up question. Example, how is it you found this event funny....or, something like that. Instead, very curtly he started talking about something else. That was jarring. Nonetheless, I salute the interviewer for a work well done. I look forward to the next segment. It would be very good, if a whole segment is relegated in a focused way to some important subjects and the General ‘s analysis : 1) Relations about ELF & EPLF; 2)Esayas Afewirki ; 3) In General, his reflections on post independence and now, particularly the state of our militarized force; 4) His ideas about the way to go forward the remove this leadership. I believe General Tekeste would give an excellent, honest and credible analysis regarding these important issues. Also, it would be good to talk with him about his personal life.and his dreams. All these are very important elements for Eritreans to know, not only for recording history, but also to help define our present and future. One of the most egregious behavior of the present regime is that it deliberately disregarded the history of Eritrea and most of the young (and old) were deprived of it. Finally, thank you our honorable hero and patriot General Tekeste. May you be well and happy. You make us proud. Please write a book.
One of the few Eritrean Patriots who gave his life in the struggle and now he is giving his time again to leave his immortal prints behind for generations to come! Thank you B/G Tekeste. I wish there are more like you who can tell the history in it’s whole life. I would like to thank also for the journalist. Dear journalist would you please ask General TEkeste about Habteslassie Gebremedhin and his colleagues in your future interview?

Yesterday never comes again, it is history, you use it as reference, talking about today is Solving a problem, talking about tomorrow is a plan vision. What you do about today is a vital thing. So Dear Eritreans let history be left for historians or let the one WHO know about it put it as a book. Lets focus on what, how , why to do now???
