I get this woman is frustrated like all of us, but the explanation from the economist flew over her head. Inflation is consistent increase of goods and services over a period of time. The economist was trying to explain the rate of inflation. Note that is some quite different from inflation itself. He's saying that the reduction in rate of inflation won't reduce the prices but it reduces the rate or pace, if you will, at which prices increase. In fact, if inflation rate isn't negative there will be no decrease in prices, meaning if we have a positive figure as the inflation rate, prices of goods and services will always rise. This is what he was trying to explain. Let's be guided. The NPP lady is off. 56% inflation rate is the rate at which prices were moving. Now if inflation rate goes down to 20%, it is not a new rate that is not reliant on the old 56%. In fact, it add on the prices that was left my the 56% rate. If you understand this, you should understand that on inflation and inflation rate alone, it doesn't matter how much you bought goods and wanting to resell. The change in the rate won't mean that we have to wait for sometime for there to be a decrease in prices. Remember, a decrease in the cost of goods and services will only be possible when inflation rate is at a negative rate. Even if inflation drops to 1%, the prices of goods and services will increase at that rate.

Ghanaian journalists like this ndc woman are deceptive to our country Ghana. Always proclaiming bad news about this government and never thought any good news about this government. It's a shame

This Nana Jantuah is there painting her finger and toe nail, wearing Brazilian hair, putting on ndc spectacle and wearing expensive clothes and complaining of high cost food. Is she better than Akua Donkor who is farming and never complained of cost of food. Better go to the land and farm to feed yourself.
