As a small child trapped in a 43 year old Woman's body, I'm so glad others appreciate and remember the magical funnel caterpillar too! Until I found this clip last night I was starting to think I'd created it in my mind, as a sort of safe place/happy place! but huzzah! It was real all along. I can't stop watching this clip & giggling! 😂❤ Also now I can stop asking everyone my age if they remember that kids show with the caterpillar with a funnel nose that goes "weeeoooow"... Thank you 'put the telly on' for uploading 😘
That thing terrified me! The way it moves and that noise it makes. Looking at it now I can see it's just a caterpillar but to 5 year old me it was nightmare fuel.
I run music classes for little ones and had been thinking of a way to make a caterpillar to move around when I remembered the start of this programme... I am not sure if this is supposed to be a caterpillar or not but I have now suddenly have had a flash of inspiration as a result of watching these opening credits. I am 40 now but I remember absolutely loving this programme when I was little. Thanks for putting this clip on You Tube.
