TVXQ! '운명 (The Chance of Love)' + U-KNOW 'Eeny Meeny' MV | K-Cord Girls Reaction 

TVXQ's "The Chance of Love" in 2018 is a big deal because it was their first comeback after being discharged from the military, so the Kpop industry was ready and waiting for them to release a new album. OK, now you need to check out TVXQ's MVs for "Love Line," which is part of their Chapter No. 1: The Chance of Love album, and "Truth," which is part of their follow up/repackaged album Chapter No. 2: The Truth of Love. Not all of TVXQ's MVs will have them wearing suits, but TVXQ are SM's senior most group, and like the members of Super Junior -- who are known for their suits -- they are now all in their 30s, so suits are part of that more mature adult look that they are going for. Therefore, just like everything in life, TVXQ's look and style has grown and evolved as they have matured and aged. With a lot of their MVs they are supposed to be mature sexy men, so suits go with that theme. You will discover in "Love Line" that that song has a completely different sound and feel to it so they are not wearing suits. :D If you get into Super Junior, you might also notice that Super Junior's "Black Suit" has sort of the same sound and feel as TVXQ's "The Chance of Love." Both of these songs came out within a few months of each other and they were both each group's first comeback in celebration of the fact that most/all of their members had been released from the military, and because the groups are so close in age and debut era, etc. they often are similar. TVXQ and Super Junior are part of the same generation and were trainees together, so they often have a similar style and aesthetic when it comes to their MVs. U-Know is known for his passion and intensity. There is almost no one in the Kpop industry that is more passionate than him when it comes to singing and dancing, and believe it or not, be rachetes it up even more when he is performing live. You know how SHINee's Minho is known for his passion for sports and games and life in general, well it's a running joke in the Kpop industry that Minho, U-Know and Siwon from Super Junior make up the holy trinity of passion within SM -- they are so convicted and intense that if they hang out together no one can compete with them. LOL ;) Also U-Know was/is the main dancer of TVXQ and he is known for his dancing. He is considered one of the top dancers in Kpop, so dance breaks are his thing. The more you get into TVXQ and U-know, you will see that intense, powerful dance moves are what he does. If a normal dancer puts 110% into a dance move, U-know uses 200%. You really need to get to know U-know and Changmin off stage to truly understand their personalities and their unique dynamic as a duo. Changmin and U-Know couldn't be more different personality-wise, and yet, they have been together for so long that they can practically read each others' minds without having to say anything. U-know is an actor. He has starred in several K-dramas, movies and musical stage plays. His most recent K-drama was "Race", which aired last year. The concept of U-Know's 2021 "Eeny Meeny" MV, and the whole Noir album, is designed around film noir, so you're supposed to feel like you're watching a drama. To understand the story in "Eeny Meeny", if you haven't yet, you should check out his main track song "Thank U." If you like the story/cinematic feel of the MVs from his Noir album, just wait until you see his "'Nexus' Reality Show" teaser video, which features Karina from aespa. Now that's a whole almost 14 minute drama. Did you notice that the female lead/dancer in "Eeny Meeny" is Seulgi from Red Velvet?

We need more TVXQ and U-know solos content! If you guys will ever do a dark or action theme week, I hope you include U-know's Thank U and Nexus are a must!

So good to see another TVXQ reaction. The Chance of Love is indeed a bop and what a choreo! It was my first time watching U-Know's Eeny Meeny and I loved it. I felt so called out by the lyrics, since I have yet to pick a bias in the group LOL And don't get me started on the "he's too young for you"!

As others have recommended, definitely watch Love Line and Truth which are from the same year as The Chance of Love but very different. You'll probably melt into a puddle watching Love Line 😂 They do the smacking move in the actual performance too lol, the stage performances are really nice to watch though they all had the same 30s great gatsby vibe as the MV! It's a concept that suits them well, Something and Spellbound have a somewhat similar vibe as well. Yunho has so many good solo songs, Eeny Meeny is from his Noir mini (title track Thank U) but all of the songs of that album have a MV. Personally I like Loco the best it's simple but effective and a really fun song. His first solo album release is Follow in 2019, it has a SF post apocalyptic vibe, and for his latest solo album I would recommend watching the NEXUS short film instead of the Vuja De MV as you will understand the storyline better.
