Mirotic has been covered by so many boy groups so maybe that’s where you’ve heard of it before. Yunho did the first high note in down and then Changmin. Both are crazy vocalists!
The high note while falling down from the sky was by Yunho. The others extreme high notes were by Changmin. Almost all listeners think high notes were by Changmin. They are both amazing. Especially their life performances. They are like Olympic champions among kpop. Always show top quality of vocals, dance, stage presence.
TVXQ’s live performances are very addictive; I have been hooked ever since I saw them in 2012 and attend concerts almost every year. They are hugely popular in Japan and are produced by Avex with a somewhat different genre than SM’s. I suggest you checkout their Nissan stadium performances in Japan. There was a typhoon, but they performed live for 3.5 hours. I was present and it was the most breathtaking moment.
I was at Nissan Stadium in 2018 too!!! 🎉😊 Everything on me (including my poor backpack) was soaked since the last concert day was the only day that rained the entire day (out of the 3-day concert) 😂 Fine memories LOLOL
I remember when Mirotic and Purple Line came out! This was the group that introduced me to kpop! They’ve got some iconic songs! Brings me back to my middle school days! U-Know was my bias! I love Hug so much! Definitely recommend Purple Line, Rising Sun, Tri-angle, O, Balloons, Hi Ya Ya!
Entering into 20 years of their debut, they are still as humble and passionate as ever. They never tired of paying attention to and giving feedbacks and motivations to their juniors. That's why are are so respected by their juniors.
SM and music style mashups, a love story for 20+ years 😊 Rising Sun and Tri-angle are the representative songs for that you will 100% lose your mind listening to them. I'd recommend looking the meaning of Rising Sun beforehand as well as it's a very deep song. Other recs: 5 members - as we're approaching the festive season too can't skip Magic Castle (harmonies heaven), Tonight (harmonies heaven #2), O-正.反.合., Purple Line ( and the legendary "I touch myself line" 😂) 2 members - Keep Your Head Down and Before You Go, Humanoids (as someone who doesn't like early 2010s EDM heavy music either, I prefer it to Catch Me), Spellbound, Love Line, Truth (which was their last Korean release before Down, it has a Jamiroquai-ish acid jazz vibe) Solos: Yunho's Follow, Thank U (age restricted), Vuja De and Changmin's Maniac all reference various movies in the MV! They are very fun watches Changmin - Me Myself & I, Chocolate, All That Love, Devil Yunho - Loco (House Party) such a fun song, Need You Right Now, Eeny Meeny They have a ton of Japanese songs as well but reactions will probably be blocked. My personal favs are Somebody To Love, Spinning, Jealous, Hot Sauce, Manazashi, and Yunho's Kimi ha Saki e Iku (君は先へ行く)
30:19 - YES HE DOES THAT LIVE! Changmin really pulls of these notes in their MAMA performance. And besides that, two of them just devoured it live (dance, presence, vocal wise)
Just a correction: the performance on MAMA was not live, they used pre-recorded vocals. But of course Changmin can pull those high notes live, he's insanely good.
@@lavieenbleu_ La Cancion de "Down" fue cantada en Live se escucha muy claro, ademas no es la primera vez que llegan a notas tan altas como en esta cancion ,como se nota que no lo conoces😁
@@margheritaguccimartinez but I didn't say that they can't reach those high notes. I've known them for quite a long time to know that they can do. But this MAMA performance was not live. You can easily see how their body movements doesn't correspond to the sound of their voices. Even when Changmin is doing that specific high note, you can just see how his acting. But it's not TVXQ's fault. SM artists barely sing live these days, very differently than it was during TVXQ ot5 era, for example.
TVXQ is Legendary.....they truly are the legends if we talk about history everything that happened with them is a first!! In my opinion they are the pioneers of modern K-pop!!
after watching their performance on MAMA, as old time kpop lover i've been craving more of their stage and music. please check out Keep Your Head Down it's my favorite song of them. Thanksss, hope you enjoy more of TVXQ!!!
Thank you for reacting to TVXQ and their 20th anniversary album prerelease "Down"!! TVXQ have been pioneers in the kpop industry and are the idols of idols. They have so many incredible songs from every era, so I highly recommend you continue to listen to their varied discography. Their 9th album comes out on December 26, 2023 - hopefully you can support them!
Keep your head down and Spellbound 🙌🙌😲😲 PLEASEEE Edit: literally two seconds later i see them in the video coming tomorrow "SOMETHING" is suchhh a good song
Can't wait for part 2!! Yunho and Changmin are forever progressing and evolutioning, and and they never show that they're gonna stop. Their vocals absolutely improving massively..Changmin can easily do high notes effortlessly..and Yunho constantly improving his vocal from a baritone, and a rapper to hit that first high note in "Down" 😭 In Mirotic, the first high note was Changmin's, and the last high notes with ad-libs was Jaejoong. Mirotic is a kpop anthem and everyone in South Korea knows this song, although the newer gens might not know who the original singers were. And of course, plenty of kpop groups had performed Mirotic. They are still performing Catch Me 😬 The latest one was during 2021 SMCU. That the props that they wore at their arms are not CGI, they really did light up. Their discography is HUUGEEE with half of them are Japanese releases cuz they're more popular in Japan. Almost everyone knows them in Japan even if they don't follow their music. Overall, they're the well respected seniors in kpop, and Japanese adore them. They're the king of Japan. Other songs that might want to listen: Spellbound Something The Chance of Love Truth Their solo works are AWESOME TOO! Their latest solo works: U-know: 'NEXUS' (Aug 2023) from his latest mini album 'Reality Show' (Nexus is a 14-minutes cinematic masterpiece with intriguing storyline that connects all the snippets of the songs, like an album sampler. Nexus was screened in Asia Short Film Festival.) Changmin: 'DEVIL' from the album 'Devil' (2021). Amazing, amazing song with of course, Changmin's powerful vocals.
Omg thank you so much for this reaction, I love TVXQ, my bias is Yunho, and also one of my favs songs is Catch Me, and Wrong Number is my fav, they are amazing, I hope you can react more to them.
I absolutely can't wait for part 2! TVXQ are so cool and their skills are imaculate! In down, I love how U-Know Yunho got a super high note to sing juste before Changmin, it really showcase how both of them are amazing! Tbh I even hope you will do a part 3 with just their solo works because I feel like you will really enjoy them too! As for Mirotic... tbh it's like every boy groups got to cover it or will cover it in the future. It's like a classic choreography they probably all learn during their trainee days!
I think you should also listen to Keep Your Head Down and Maximum. These were two songs from their first album as a duo and we were blown away And their Japanese ballads are some of the best (Love in the Ice, Heart Mind and Soul, etc)
Oh yes, catch me is my fav song from tvxq. Please watch ' the chance of love ' and ' something'. You should check out their solos , especially "chocolate" by changmin and 'thank you ' by yunho
Seeing those two singing like this and know that these two both weren’t main vocals in TVXQ OT5. Especially Yunho improved more and more in singing higher notes, after they were only two. (And he was already great even when they were 5)
You should check out the soloists singles as well. Honourable mentions: Yunho: champagne, drop Junsu: tarantellegra, incredible, flower, rock the world, pit a pat Jaejoong: just another girl For JYJ: Get out, back seat
Thank you for reacting to TVXQ, their vocals are amazing, and they've only have gotten better with time. I will wait for part 2, you should check out their live performances!
Oh you opened the jar of real candy now!!! I would love to see you react to 'keep you head down' and 'something' and if you can 'love in the ice' live. You won't be disappointed
Thanks for your reaction!! Down: the first high note was Yunho, the others was ChangMin Please react to Truth, Spellbound, Something and Love Line ❤ Thank U ❤
So glad you enjoyed their music! 💕 They are so talented and I hope you check out more. Here are some suggestions to get you started. TVXQ: - Something - Spellbound - Chance of Love - Truth U-Know: - Follow - Thank U - Nexus Film / Vuja De Max Changmin: - Chocolate - Devil - Fever
omggg thank you for reacting to tvxq! they are kingsssss!! (and yes i love that even when they try new genres and new concepts, but they still keep their colors >
Mirotic is like Rainism by Rain, Sorry Sorry by Super Junior and Bang Bang Bang like Big Bang Majority of the boys groups have covered at least one of these songs lmao.
Been a cassie since 2008 so right before the lawsuit which completely broke me and there was alot of drama with the 3 members leaving and people taking sides including me 😔 but now seeing them do their own thing and live their own lives im so happy for them. Definitely check out more of their stuff they are so talented. Kings of kpop in my opinion 😁
Hello, I enjoy watching your reaction to TVXQ - 5 or 2 members. I can say by now you are becoming their fan, right? Yes you are right, the remaining 2 members of TVXQ which are Yunho - Uknow and Changmin - Max are excellent singers especially Changmin with his high notes. I'm always impressed by his highnotes in all their songs. You should watch Dingo Music, both Yunho and Changmin went to sing live and I was blown away by Yunho's vocals too....didn't realised he is such an amazing singer as well.
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!! ahhhh it's not even premiered yet but i already think you need to do more 😅 they have a loooooot lots of masterpiece, the pioneer of kpop, the ones who rebuild kpop back in 2003 when the industry almost collapsed, the first to do promo and tour outside korea, TVXQ 🔥
I am so happy you react to one of my all time favourite groups again (like Vixx and Pentagon) and enjoy their music! It was the same for me with the dubstep elements int he songs: normally I don't really like it, but TVXQ somehow makes it work and I really love it... For other songs I would definitively recommend Rising Sun (the absolute best song of all time), The Chance of Love, Why? (Keep Your Head Down), Something and Tri-Angel. But they have sooo many great Japanese songs too and awesome b-sides like Jungel, Off-road and more. There's a lot to discover :)
I only got into them last year and what sealed the deal for me was Rising Sun (even though I might love Tri-Angle more) I had the same reaction as you lso I’d love a part 2!
it's interesting to hear that people generally expect groups to last years and years nowadays since there are quite a number of groups now that are still together after 10+ years...i think up until early third gen people still feared the 7 year curse because very few surpassed that mark that time
I am subscribing and will be on the look out for more tvxq reactions! They've been my favorite group since 2010. Everyone has already given great suggestions, but I definitely second Spellbound. And keep your head down was the first song back as a full duo in 2011. Happy listening!!
That's what Max is known for! And to think Chen and Baekhyun can do the exact same thing when covering TVXQ songs....but TVXQ are Exo older brothers at SM, Exo grew up at SM with TVXQ watching and mentoring Exo as Exo grew up, along with Shinee and Super Junior members, when Exo came along, periodically they would run into each other in the conference room (like a big lunchroom with doors at both ends of the room) and if they see each other in there eating, they would pop in on each other and chat, share food, hug, just a big family....I love that they all support each other, and Max and Yunho are no exception....TVXQ are SM ROYALTY... Check out some songs from the guys when they were going solo... YUNHO - Drop, Thank U MAX - Devil TVXQ - Spellbound TVXQ BROUGHT ME INTO KPOP in 2006 -2008 with "Keep Your Head Down" (CLASSIC MV) 💙🌺
They debut as acapella boys band, they did alot accapella , check out their live performance & as today, end of Aug 2024, 5 of them still active and doing very well in music industry. Hero aka Jaejoong had released his new album and finally back to music show after so many years being banned 😢and yes they are HUGE in K-pop & J-Pop, mirotic is one of the most covered song.
You probably know Mirotic because what feels like the whole industry has covered this song at some point lmao It's THAT popular. I'd love to see you react to their ballads like Why Did I Fall In Love With You, Picture of You, Asu Wa Kuru Kara, Love In The Ice and Tonight.
fyi, mirotic is like...SONG OF THE DECADES😭🖤 perhaps, u've heard mirotic by NCT's cover? or anywhere probably🤣 bcs if im not mistaken, almost all kpop groups have sung this song at least once 🖤
first vixx and now tvxq!! you're hitting all of my favourite groups recently! I hope you start a tvxq journey as well! Their lives are absolutely *amazing*!!!
TVXQ are the Vocal GODS, they are all so talented!! I really hope you check out solo music down the line. Xiah/Junsu for example has a lot of music videos of his musical numbers and they are INSANE ❤
As a VIP, TVXQ is the only group I can put side by side in terms of skills, or even a little higher in terms of vocals, with BIGBANG. Totally different but equally TALENTED. And no one has yet to surpass these two cuz they don't make groups like these anymore. Fun fact: TVXQ/DBSK/Tohoshinki means "Rising Gods of the East", that's why they're called the "GODS OF KPOP".
not to be shady but tvxq is waaaay more vocally talented than bigbang, in fact there are quite a lot of groups that are more vocally talented. sure bigbang is good but there are better
Mirotic is one of the most popular, influential kpop songs of all time. There are so many vocal and dance covers of this song that you def saw some group perform it at some time. Thats why it sounds familiar
TVXQ was originally debuted as Acapella dance group. That why every members are good at singing. Please check out their acapella songs. As a cassiopeia I’m really proud to say that my man are truly legend!
