As a mom with a son that has autism,it is really hard. At first you keep on asking yourself what did you do that causes it. You blame yourself as the cause of it for not taking good care of him while he was inside. But,eventually time comes that you will slowly not dwell on that stage,instead you'll focus on researching things and ways on how to help him. When my son got diagnosed with autism I felt like weight on me. I read a little about autism. I had all these worries right away on my mind. Can he go to school normally? Can he plays sports? Can he have normal life? A lot of questions popping up on my mind. There were moments that I asked God "why". When a diagnos is just recent,it seems like your mind has full of different thoughts. Until I give it up to God and told Him,rather than questioning You why letting this happen. I know it won't help. So i decided to keep closer to Him and asking wisdom from Him of the things that I needed to do to help my son. February 2013,he was 3.5 year old,that's when I started gluten /dairy free on his diet. That's when i noticed he started saying 3 words in a sentence. We started giving him supplements too,we saw a great progress but he still not aware of the things happen in his environment. In the middle of this year 2017,we started giving him B-12 shots and DMSA oral chelation these are the two things that really helped him to be aware of the outside world.He noticed every thing that is new or changes that happens. It also helps with his behavior,it's improving even his teachers at school see the difference in him this year than previous years. I think most of all the things that really helps him is his willingness to help himself. He prays every night. He listens and sings all the time about praise and worship songs. Every sunday he will sit beside us listening to the pastor preaching. I'm so grateful to God for all the things he has done for my son. I'm sharing a little about his story to inspire those who has been going through with the same case as him. We will keep doing more than our best and not losing hope because God is willing to fight our fight. We will just keep our faith in Him.

Same with my ex, he stopped supporting my son, i lift it all to God. Karma will hit bad fathers big time. Candy is such a strong woman and i a salute her for that. May God bless her with more work so that she can provide Quentin. i pray for Quentin too as single mom my heart is with him. Life is hard for us but God will never stop loving us. God bless to all single moms out there.
