Update: 23 months of ownership and I went to a fresh water swimming hole. Moisture somehow got inside and I couldn't use it until it sat in rice for 4 months. I did contact customer service and but they refused to service the watch since I didn't have the original receipt. But they did add me to their text message advertising in case I wanted to buy another piece of trash. 6 months later the glass is damaged, and I have no idea how. Anything that "supposedly" can hurt this watch should have broken my wrist. G-Shock is the way to go.
They may be 45mm but their lugs immediately curve away from their cases so surprisingly they’ll visually fit even smaller wrists by wearing slightly smaller than you’d otherwise predict, and I usually can’t wear anything larger than a 41mm watch (if only because I don’t like it when a bracelet or a strap falls away down the curve of my wrist from the watch’s case at a ninety degree angle). Just picked up a 3251.BO.CB in Luminox’s Shibuya outlet and I’m _muy_ happy with it. Scratched an itch for a ‘tactical’ or a ‘tool’ watch that I never knew I had, plus the all-black look will really pair well with a black titanium ring . . . 👍
@@MegaJohny56 don't listen to this idiot. It is used in the teams. It's gifted to seals for use. The model has changed over the years. But yes, I know for a fact that do use them in the seal teams. My buddie was in the teams during Afghanistan. He still wears his everyday. It's beat, but it's still working nice.
@@MegaJohny56 funny i just bought another today, the 3502BO version. They really are quality pieces, i guarantee you won't have a problem diving with it. 200m on mine and their jusy built to spec so tight, I don't think I could even imagine getting a break on a seal with these watches. But yeah glad I could clarify.
You also need to keep in mind it depends on the watch and it also depends on the battery consumption of the watch and off the watch as well as the environment that it's in but it's in so there's a lot of factors besides just I'd just the battery sitting there not to mention the fact that every battery in watches from luminox that I have ever owned from has literally lasted longer than advertised Lominox is One of the best watches for the price on the market to day I stand by that
I would echo that. Had the battery changed, got in a hot tub about six months later and guess what happened? Yeah, I will never buy another one. Ever. Sticking with my G-Shocks & Garmin watches because I wouldn't want a misty morning to wreck my watch SMH.
@@W5NWA uhhh.. obviously you didnt know your not supposed to wear any watch in the shower or hot tub especially right ? … Rolex, omega.. or a luminox.. it causes the case and the other metals to expand and then reform back to size after trapping water inside. Rolex literally has an entire manual on what not to do with their watches and hot steamy environments such as saunas hot showers or hot tubs is literally one of the first descriptions omega says the same thing, so does Victorinox so does luminox, so does Hamilton, so does Tissot… so that sir would not be a luminox problem that would be a user error and your fault only.
He's showing the double gasket, screw in element of the crown. The crown on these watches is not used to wind the watch up. It is used to adjust the date and time.
