Idk if ya watch Breaking Bad, but this is very similar-possibly copied from-that final nod Jesse and Walt give each other in their final scene together in Breaking Bad.
I love how despite everything Negan did, a lot of his victims in Rick's group still managed to accept him. They definitely haven't forgiven him, but they've recognized that he's not a threat.
It’s pretty realistic too I think. Don’t get me wrong, the things he did were absolutely awful, but when you look at things from all perspectives its like he said in Dead city talking about the radar station attack. Something like “I had to heal a wound for my people… etc… Maybe I am the bad guy, or maybe EVERYONE is, Maggie. How many husbands and fathers have you killed?”
And people forget that it was Rick and his group that threw the first punch by murdering like 30 people at that outpost and instead of murdering them all back he killed 2 of them and made them work for him
Still can’t forgive what he did to Glenn and Abraham, i or basically “we” all hated Negan at first but as time passed we got connected to him & his character, after that we just loved him like he was in the group from the beginning, he ain’t a threat anymore
We only hated hated Negan because we started the show watching Glenn help Rick. Had we started watching Negan. We would have seen Rick’s group attack the outposts and go everything they did. Carol burned those guys in the room. People with families.
This was a great ending for Negan and besides him reuniting with Rick, I feel like his character doesn't need anymore development. Dead City is pretty pointless in my opinion and just milking his character when he already had a pretty good ending.
And what The Walking Dead doesn’t really tell you about all these characters is they had a normal life before the outbreak and that’s what murder made them turn evil Some people live to die as a hero and some people live long enough to become the villain❤
Not many people mess with Rick group and survive but negan did it and became apart of it sure I hated when he killed gleen and Abraham but his character more than made up for their loss in my opinion
Know the person first if he's really a threat to them because they went through a lot and didn't know he's side story on how he ended up on that kind of attitude because all of them survive and went through a lot
I think if you consider the fact that the group killed two entire groups of negans people, and he was still only going to take only one of theirs until glenn and daryl acted out, should make it easier to forgive negan. From a non hypocritical point of view negan was doing the same thing as Rick. Trying to protect his people. If the roles were reserved rick would have killed everyone. The group needed that wake up call.
Negan used to mercilessly kill people and settlements for no good reason, he once killed Craig from hilltop just bcos the drop was light , all this happened even before he met Rick and his group, used to take wives and force them to sleep with him Negan fanboys : Negan was a good man U can’t forget what he did no matter how much he changed , can’t forgive a person who forced women to sleep with him
Just because he gave him a head nod doesn't mean he has forgiven him. I think Daryl has more so just accepted and appreciated that negan is no longer the villain he once was
I think as time went on Daryl also understood that Negan did what he did to protect his people. The way he did it by making people a resource was fucked up and evil but they live in a fucked up and evil world. He has helped them defeat several threats since him and has showed how good he can be when he’s on your side. Negan is broken and fucked up. But that’s exactly what you want on your team in a world like this.
The guy fucking helped them in more ways than he destroyed them. They needed and used negan so much and negan was always willing even after he left. He deserves to be respected.
At least they weren't slaughtered in front of their families "eenie meenie miney moe" execution style on their knees. Rick's group saw a threat that was killing innocent people and wanted to help. They paid for it, but Rick's group knew the threat, they'd taken out enemies before they became more dangerous in the past.
LMFAO, let me remind you those saviors that got killed on their sleep had snuff pictures of skulls bashed. If anything that was anything but brutal. These casual watchers of the show throwing their ignorant comments are annoying AF.
Yeah, even the show* acknowledges that Rick was becoming the aggressor. Hilltop basically complained to Rick that they were being bullied by Simon and Negan then Rick suddenly decided to play God and kill innocent saviors in their sleep. Negan was simply defending his people.
@@WannaDJ negan only hit Alexandria because of what Rick did to his people. If you really believe that Rick did nothing wrong and that negan was a bad guy then you’re terribly mistaken. Sasha and Abraham were not even attacked by negan, the biking squad was similar to Simon with their lack of loyalty to negan..
@@Nicolos117does Rick not get redemption for that since Negan did plus in zombie Apocalypse is anyone innocent remember last of us should that it doesn't matter it is all about survival
