i do love the comedy element here but i also think on a technical level this band is incredibly underrated

Just found this band and I'm heartbroken they have broken up. I can't stop listening to their albums!! They're also hilarious! I'm grateful for the music they have put out.

So the first minute and a half was just a documentary on daily life in Australia, right?

Why did it take so long for me to discover this band and this song??? Hands down the best metal song of all time in terms of structural complexity, instrument playing skills, vocals, and engineering. Rarely are musicians so accomplished in multiple playing styles that they can fuse together pounding metal riffs with melodic jazz and pull it off the way TFN does in this song. On top of that they meld their unique, incomparable musical style with an open and unafraid sense of humor that makes their videos so wildly entertaining. They should have twice as many followers, but I guess many new fans are still waiting to discover them late as I did. Unquestionably awesome!!! PLEASE TOUR THE US AGAIN!!!

Why am I just now discovering this band? I mean... that Bass is a delicious Carne asada burrito, those guitars are lightning and thunder, that drum is a dragon's heartbeat and those vocals are a ear tacos. I haven't heard a song this delicious in forever!

Gotta love a band that doesn't take itself too seriously. This is solid gold.

This song really is a masterpiece. I love the interplay between the drums and the guitar riff how they sort of interweave around each other, like the drum beats hit when the guitar is not playing and vice versa, almost like they're taking turns.

Lead vocals and guitar were literally perfect for each other. Everyone in the band is essential, and makes the divine entity known as 12ft ninja possible.. but Steve and Kin have a serious Yin and Yang like chemestry that is galvanizing. I hope one day they reunite and settle any differences that may be..

No wonder Tatiana from Jinjer mentions them as influential....The tempo and riffs is Jinjer all over the place

behind all the goofyness is one of the most diverse and talented metal bands out there..little bit of everything from 70's disco to djent..these guys do it all..but the icing on the cake for me here is kin's vocals..he has an awesome diversity to his vocals and he cant realy be compared to anybody..just a kick ass band from down under

Honestly you guys are absolutely bloody brilliant! The serious parts are serious; the silly parts are silly, and everything blends and moves together so perfectly and beautifully. And all done in a unique and creative way. Proper talent is what this is. Can't wait for the new album. I'll be watching the bloody grass grow in the meantime. Cheers! 🤘

The first time i saw this I thought the beginning was kind of a random joke, but they are commenting on how people seem to evaluate each other and themselves based on busy-ness and productivity and 'the sound of one hand clapping' is a Zen thing which is basically the antithesis to the hyper-productivity mindset. Brilliant!

I just discovered you guys earlier this year. Completely blown away by the unique talent and humor from all of you! This song has become one of my favorites to try to jam to when im practicing and going through covers. Im an analog kinda guy but those shuriken variax guitars are badass! I first listened to this when it came out. 6-7 years later that intro hasn't left my mind and the song is still in my playlist. One of my favourites. If someone says they've been busy, my mind goes directly to this

My greatest influences have always been korn, tool, system of a down, etc. Tweleve foot ninja is now definitely one of my all time favorite bands. Love the changes in genre. You guys are amazing!

I was today years old when I noticed the bass on the "serious" side is a Warwick. I've been playing one of those for almost 20 years now, and I still get excited to see them in the wild! And it helps when it's at the hands of one of my very favorite bands. Rock on, djentlemen.

RU-vid in its infinite wisdom recommended this to me about 2 years back now. At the time I was going through one of the lowest moments of my life, it got better thank goodness. But at the time it was some seriously heavy shit and for the first time in life I was genuinely vulnerable. No lie, when this came on, I laughed for the first time in what seemed like years, And when I laughed I really laughed, these lads brought me something that day, They never knew they’d do that for someone half a world away, I never knew they existed. But we met halfway at the right time, cheers you fucking legends. You moved mountains that day.
