I also love that Josh knows this isn't the time or place to make up a silly story about how they met. I think it speaks volumes that in every other interview they make something up but in this one they didn't. (can you tell I watch this interview literally all the time? it's my fave. oops sorry not sorry)

Fall Øut My Chemical Piløts Usually it isn't. This time it actually was. This has been proven true, they've admitted it. If you noticed, this was a more serious, slightly somber interview, not really full of many jokes. Also, the interviewer was foreign, and I think they wanted to avoid confusing him. Anyhow, almost all of their stories are improvised and always include crazy out-there details. And full of giggles. This was the real deal, and though I love the tales they tell, it's nice hearing the truth, too :) It's a good story.

I think they didnt joke around because tyler was either too tired or upset. And it would have been wrong to joke around in that mood. I think Josh told the real story for Tyler's sake. Also they tend to be more serious with this interviewer. I watched an interview 1 on 1 with him and tyler, and dang was it deep. But it was also a really inspiring interview and a lot of people's favorite interview. I think its because this interviewer asks the deep serious questions that create beautiful answers. also because the interviewer isnt doing it like a Q and A, but more like a conversation where they are trying to find out about them.

Kaitlyn Life jokes typically do not translate languages and cultures. I imagine you do it once and it's super awkward and come off as aloof and dickish. Not a good approach to building a foreign audience

Can anyone else just imagine Tyler asking Josh, prior to the interview, to answer the questions because he was feeling really tired and sort of down. Like a really cute small bean just asking his bud to answer the questions because he didn't have the energy and Josh, being all concerned and protective, didn't even give it a second thought he was just like "of course." +Samara C I think they're really good at noticing when the other has anxiety or is rundown and will take the lead accordingly, or share the spotlight if both of them are up to it. My best friend has become attuned to when I'm stressed or panicky and will do the same. I love seeing the connection and care between the two :)

Even though this interview was really long and slow, it's probably the best one out there. I'm grateful the interviewer didn't demand enthusiasm or humor from either of them but instead let them answer at their own pace, being respectful of how tired they were. I'm especially glad he didn't push Tyler to answer any of his questions until he was ready to later on. The atmosphere in this interview is unlike any other because it's so relaxed. It really allowed both Josh and Tyler to dig deep about their music and talk about it without feeling like the information was forced out of their mouths. This guy is great.

While you guys are celebrating Josh taking over this interview, I was being concerned the whole interview about Tyler. Not saying more than a couple of words, staring off, not making eye contact. It made my heart ache. Whether he was tired or upset, it made me think of how life would be without Tyler. Would be so dead, and that thought made me sad. :(

Okay I love this interview for so many reasons oml 1.Tyler's Obviously tired, and even though Josh has anxiety, he still talks the whole time for Tyler because he doesn't feel good or is tired (I could tell from the moment the video started, the bags under his eyes, poor baby😭) 2.they didn't make up the story, But josh checked with Tyler and there was some like telepathic communication going on There but they UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER SO WELL 3.The interviewer doesn't push Tyler to answer, and let's them take time, he is very calm, super sweet of him. 4.Tyler's LITTLE YAWN my heart melted 5.Just... I love their friendship, so sweet to each other, just oml, the little things speak so loudly.

One of the most honest Twenty One Pilots interviews, with both of them. I think this stems from a most excellent interview with Tyler in Feb 2014. He was clearly impressed at the research and intelligent and considered questions the interviewer asked. Wouldn't be surprised if they agreed to another honest interview because of how well the other one went :)

ok maybe some people don't find it funny but let me explain, i meant "depressing" as sad, not as the actual disease, and by the way tyler said he is suffering from shizofrenia NOT depression. So saying that you are FEELING depressed, or that someone is SOUNDING depressed is not the same as BEING depressed, period. Don't get me wrong, i love tyler, and i don't wanna offend anyone, i just expressed myself wrong, so some people misunderstood, I'm sorry

It seems tyler really likes being interviewed by this person. In all of them, he is either listening or talking from his heart. No sassiness or sarcasm.. I love watching these interviews. Making a guy like tyler feel comfortable And open up seems almost impossible if you are not a close friend

I love when josh is talking and in the middle of his sentence or something he'll crack a faint crooked smile and I just always seemed to love that about him!! And the fact that clearly something was bothering Tyler or he was really tired, (playing shows every night probably gets exhausting) josh being the nice bean he is talks the whole time so Tyler doesn't have to. And the fact he does it with his anxiety is just amazing because I'm guessing that answering all the questions can be very nerve racking! Good job josh I love you!

This is honestly an example of RELATIONSHIP GOALS! The fact that Tyler said practically nothing just shows that Josh is a great person. And if you didn't know this, Josh gets scared to talk in front of people, even one person like this interview so it really means something.

I love Josh's enthusiasm in this interview. I know he usually has anxiety in interviews, so it was so refreshing to hear him talk! I do hate seeing Tyler so drained, though.
