I'm almost 50 and have seen them 3 times. This is not just a video. This is exactly how a concert is. They make their audience a part of the the show like no one I have ever seen. If you get a chance to see them you MUST go. It's like a a big family reunion!
I'm 53 & have been to two of their concerts. Once at the Amphitheater in OKC & again at the Cox Communication Ctr in OKC. Im moving soon to the East Coast & plan to see them again when they come my way.
Since we have 43 and 53 in here I'm 33 and saw them live in Hungary since they never came to my country and it was the best experience ever. Love that the fandom is this diverse. Lots of love from Serbia for The Skeleton Clique
They are incredible live! I’ve seen them twice. Both times they ran out in big hamster balls over the crowd, everyone holding them up. They also drummed on top of the crowd. There is always a lot of crowd interaction at their gigs. Love it! I would recommend Ode To Sleep, it shows their journey
I've saw them once and their concerts are exactly what you've seen. They pour their all I to every concert, and they're not just musicians, they're true entertainers. The show I went to, they had the audience hold a piece of wood and the drummer (Josh) put his drum set on the piece of wood and played the drums on the piece of wood held up by the audience. Tyler (the lead singer) has immaculate energy
You should react to neon gravestones by them, there’s no music video for it but I suggest watching a lyric video so you can pay attention to the lyrics. The song has really deep and important lyrics.
Recommendation list in order ( in this order you'll understand concepts of last 2 albums and will be able to see growth of this band): 1st lane : Vessel album - Ode to sleep (music video) - Car radio (music video) + - holding on to you (music video - cuz it's first big video work from TOP) - guns for hands (music video) - migraine (music video or The live room version) - trees (live from fox theater ! - song with one of the biggest meaning for Tyler , he wrote it a looong time ago in high school ) 2nd line : blurryface album - stressed out (music video, huge song that made them so popular right now) + - lane boy (music video) + - ride (live from Fox theater) - hometown (lyrics video) - tear in my heart (music video) - the judge (lyrics video) - fairy local (music video) - message man (lyrics video) - goner (live from fox theatre , ending of the album) - Heavydirtysoul ( music video - this one is the connection to the next album, start of storyline) 3rd line : Trench album - jumpsuit ( music video , connected to hvdrtsl) - nico and the niners (music video, next one in saga) - levitate (music video, next one in saga) - chlorine (music video) - the hype (BOTH, album and Berlin session versions ) - my blood (music video) - pet cheetah (lyrics video) - morph (lyrics video, a bit of connection to storyline) - Heathens ( music video, spin off, not from any album but have a lot of small connections to story) + - neon gravestones (lyrics video, influence to the story) - legend (lyrics video) - bandito (lyrics video, huge connection in storyline) - leave the city ( lyrics video, ending of era ) 4th line (extra) - TOP x Mutemath session - stripped down storyteller session by Tyler - kitchen sink (live version) - House of gold (live room or official video) - Forest (live Newport music hall ) - fall away (feat dr. Blum) - level of concern (official video) - blasphemy, drown (from Tyler's solo project he made in high school) - taxi cab (live SiriusXM) - cut my lip (lyrics video) - Car radio (captured in The live room) - Friend please (lyrics video) - March to the sea (lyrics video) - Trapdoor (lyrics video) - Isle of flightless birds (lyrics video)
Their concerts are so interactive They will have multiple stages (front, back, overhead even) and they will even have people hold platforms over head and they will literally perform on top of the crowd
They have the BEST concerts ever!!!! They really put so much thought into how to involve every fan and make everyone feel like they’ve gotten their money’s worth. They sound just as good live as the studio version also!!
I listen to all kinds of music, but Twenty One Pilots is my favorite. I haven't been into their concerts, but what I know, they actually connect with people. Some singers and bands just perform, but don't even try to establish a connection with the audience. These guys are different. The shows are also magnificent and they let people sing with them, etc. Yeah, it's like EDM drop, when the party really starts.
I've only gotten to see them live once, but the hype that you see in this video is real. If you want to see some more fantastic crowd interaction, watch Trees Live at the Fox Theater. They end every show with that song, and it's an absolutely wonderful song to end with.
I've got another one to add to your hundreds of bands. There's a group of 5 Japanese girls playing hard rock music in maid outfits called Band-Maid. I'd love to see what you think of one of their newest tracks "Warning!". Nice to see a lot of variety on your channel. Keep it up!
If you watch their performance of Trees live at fox theater you'll see another way they include the audience! They used to run over the crowd in a big hamster ball. It was great. I'm 51and have seen them 4 times and I have seen a LOT of concerts and they are by far the best!!
I can't be more agree with you. I'm 41, l'm from Buenos Aires and I listen all kinds of music, different cultures, I love artists who are not close but can do several styles of music, genres, etc... And that 's why I love Twenty one pilots, just what "lane boy" says... they do whatever they want to!! they mix deep messages with great lyrics, awesome music, so much energy. They are sooo genuine and original .
Twenty One Pilots have such a mad range and just seem to pull it off effortlessly. It's literally impossible that you don't know Red Hot Chilli Peppers, but can you do Dark Necessities if you haven't heard it???
It's perfect how you pointed out his rapping style and their general type of music, because this song is one of the few where they talk about exactly that :D "they say stay in your lane, boy" =they were told they should choose one genre and do that til the end of time "but we go where we want to"...continued later by "they think this thing is a highway, if it was our way, we'd have a tempo change every other time change, 'cause our minds changed on what we think is good" =they do with their music whatever they want and we loove that about them!! you can't put them in a box (other than just being tøp or alternative) and that's the point! 🖤🖤 looking forward to the next one you'll do on them!
Love going on this journey with you! Please react to Holding on to You live at Fox Theater at some point. Gives you just a taste of what an INCREDIBLE live show they put on!
I have a certain taste of music that I like. The first time I honestly said that I liked a song was when I was younger, and heard imagine Dragons, and Avicci. That was when I knew that I loved independent rock, and independent pop. That led me to 21 pilots back when Blurryface came out, and I still love Indy rock, and Indy pop to this day, but I'm open to listening to any music that you put out, but Indy rock, and Indy pop will still be my favorite.
Great reaction and love the shirt! Can't wait to see you react to more of their songs. You should check out the song Ode to Sleep-great intro to the band, Migraine and maybe some live performances, I suggest Holding Onto You and Trees-live Fox Theatre
I just discovered you by chance yesterday and have been loving your reaction videos! Thank you for always going in with an open mind and heart. I noticed that you've done quite a bit of alt/punk rock and thought you might enjoy Panic! at the Disco and/or Fall Out Boy. For Panic! at the Disco, I'd recommend Death of a Bachelor, This is Gospel, Emperor's New Clothes and Say Amen (Saturday Night). The MVs of the last three are connected which is cool. Brendon (the lead singer and only remaining member of the band) is a talented songwriter and an even more incredible vocalist. For Fall Out Boy, some of my favourites include Thanks for the Memories (it's stylized differently - with the vowels taken out as a jab to people who said their titles are too long), Bishops Knife Trick, and any or all the songs from their album Save Rock and Roll. Especially the MVs. They had a whole theatrical production for that album and every song has a MV that continues the story.
OMG I’ve discovered so much great music because of the suggestions on all the reaction channels...most in which I would have never considered giving a chance. These are just a few that I’ve add to my playlists: Tool, A Perfect Circle, FIR, Bring Me the Horizon, MGK, Thrice, Manchester Orchestra. And of course I took the NF Journey 👍🏻 *** oh and there are TOP live shows on RU-vid... mind blowing!!
Do you have a specific place to submit suggestions to you? I know some of the reactors I watch take requests on patreon to those that subscribe and donate. I’ve got a few I’d like to suggest but I’m sure you’ve got a ton you’re trying to get to already so thought I’d ask beforehand 😊
Here is a suggestion for two bands you are loving... Check out "Cancer" by My Chemical Romance then listen to the cover to "Cancer" that Twenty One Pilots did
Although it's nice to see you enjoy the song you didn't react to the meaning of it at all which is sad :/ Try to put the lyrics on some songs it would be nice sometimes !
