It’s an infinite loop between the 3 songs. :) Every time he escapes, he gets pulled back. If you notice, in Jumpsuit at the main end he is holding a yellow flower. In Nico, he has a drawer full of those flowers from each time he’s escaped, but he always ends back up in the same place. Much like mental health struggles. You can be ok for a while but you usually end up back where you started, it’s a daily battle.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but just to help the story: The black along Tyler's throat and hands that you can see whenever Nico (the guy in the red hood) gets his hands on him is a representation of his insecurity and anxiety about his creations, which are the songs he makes with his fingers that play the piano or guitar and the throat that allows him to sing. It symbolizes the numbness his hands feel and the choking sensation in his throat when anxiety really starts to get to him. He began painting his neck and hands with the Blurryface album, where Blurryface was essentially the name and face he gave to all of his insecurities, personal demons, and everything he disliked about himself. It became a parson in his head that he tried to understand, but at the same time had to defeat every day. When Nico draws the black lines on Tyler's throat in Jumpsuit and you see those lines spread to cover his neck, that's his anxiety dragging him back to Dema, his demons telling him he's not good enough, his insecurity asking "But what if I fail?" You can also see the paint spread across his neck as Nico is dragging him at the end of this video. Also: Dema is a mindset of hopelessness and despair that is represented by a city ruled over by the Nine Bishops, one of which is Nico. This may seem a bit dark, but if you remember the Neon Gravestone looking thing the Niners were praying to in Nico and the Niners? Assuming you've heard the whole album by now, the Niners are encouraging exactly what you think they are.

Great video! As other people have already said, it's a trilogy- Levitate, Nico, and Jumpsuit. Their HeavyDirtySoul music video from the last era is almost like a prequel to this series though, it's heavily connected to the Jumpsuit mv and where the burning car in Jumpsuit and Levitate is from. So even if you don't react to HDS, I highly recommend watching HDS, Jumpsuit, Nico, and Levitate in that order bc it just adds a little bit more to the story. And as people have already said, yall should definitely check out the My Blood and Chlorine mvs, I think you'd have a ton of fun reacting to them ;)

Heavydirtysoul can be seen as sort of a prequel to this trilogy! And I love how into the story you are, it's so on point! The story of trench is kind of cyclical in a way? Tyler mentioned that Trench is a place between to places, full of uncertainty and change (the song cut my lip is kind of the main idea imo talking about trying again and going back to old, unhealthy ways anyways. And then trying again- just like tyler gets captured by the bishops and escapes over and over in this trilogy)
