He is not saying demon, he is saying Dema, which are the people in red. The whole trilogy is an allegory for depression and mental illness, Tyler (singer/songwriter) has suffered from sever depression in the past, and a lot of their songs are about that. The guys in red or Nico and the niners (or bishops) are essentially physical manifestation of negativity. And the group of people are the Banditos, who are trying to rescue him. Yellow, the color of creativity, is a color the bishops cannot see thusly very important to the Banditos. I’ll explain more once you’ve watched levitate, but I do not want to spoil anything. Other songs That tie into this particular trilogy is Banditos and Leave the city, but I suggest you listen to them all.

he says "im heavy, my jumpsuit is on steady" so what he means by "im higher when im heavy" is that he feels better and more protected when he has his jumpsuit on, and so when he's "lighter" when he doesnt have his jumpsuit on he feels "lower." just some clarification for the chorus if you were still confused. anyway great video!

My idea is that the lighter/lower, higher/heavy part is related to how some things in the spiritual world are kind of reversed, upside down to the normal world. When you're weighed down with care on your knees is exactly when you're closer to heaven, so higher. Awesome reaction!

Why in the basement? And and we have to reach the whole album now ! We feel compelled to finish now , on the fact that the story is unfinished if we don’t and on the fact that we just like twenty one pilots so much now 😂🤷🏾‍♂️

@@skulkpackreacts Unfortunately the storyline of these 3 videos ends in a cliffhanger on the album with more to come in the future. I'm really excited to see where it goes, but it will probably be a year or two!

unfortunately this isnt true - they had a producer for this album (paul meany) that did lots of the drums (jumpsuit ,morph, my blood, smithereens, chlorine, and bandito were all done using a virtual drum plugin on a computer, some being actual loops that they didnt make themselves (my blood) ) and TONS of the production - not sure how much josh actually had to do with those songs however i still absoloutely love his drumming anyway

i did passed numrous nights trying to intrepret a lot of their lyrics in their songs (old and new ones) and really at the end of the day it's up to your interpretation even tho we can assumes some things by what tyler and josh said or went thru

Heavier when higher, lighter when Im lower...that could honestly have many meanings I kind of thought at first that it meant that you're words hold more weight when you're higher because you are at a higher status and more people are paying attention to you so there's this weight of burden being placed on your shoulders. But when you're at a lower place in your life you're free to do and say as you please because you're in a sense invisible to the public. Your actions don't affect others. Which is kind of what 'ol Dustin was saying. I feel like there's also an emotional connotation that can be derived from this as well, but I'm not exactly sure what it would be. I'd have to think on it longer, but I definitely agree. People be missing out on hella good music. Also I have a request from someone that you should react to Ar'mon and Trey- "Right Back Remix" ft NBA YoungBoy
