@@makeitright3810 It's the mixture of both you can clearly hear their voices but some parts are pre recorded vocals such as mina's "Ladies and Gentleman" sentence
In a show like this, they won’t risk ruining it by running “live” vocals, and then have some sort of mic malfunction during the show. So the tracks are prerecorded, but on the same stage, in an empty arena, during the soundcheck, and usually on the day of the show (or the night before). But you’re hearing exactly what the engineers (and crew) heard during the soundcheck. The mics are usually also live during the performance to capture live dialog, but feedback can be an issue, so the volume gets turned way down when they’re not talking to the audience.
One can notice TooGrown is a great ONCE when he notices the changes in the songs during these remixes. You will freak out with Fancy Rock Version and Signal Remix
The beginning of this performance is a reference to “The Greatest Showman”, so I guess they’re supposed to be circus lions at the beginning, but Sana was still being her cute self
Nayeon has light voice and Jihyo has heavy voice but Jihyo can change it to light she wants or JYP wants but I love them both ways. It's not hard to distinguish their voice just focus onto it lol. In dance the night away, they're doing vice versa, Nayeon fist then Jihyo.
they are actually singing live with the backing track since nayeon and jihyo changes some of the notes with their voice but i think the backing track is more louder thats why their vocals gets covered up. and this is an award show btw :)
@@Richard-ck5zk www.allkpop.com/forum/threads/3rd-gen-girl-group-live-vs-lip-sync-ranking.273922/ you can check this article just mamamoo have 100% singing live in every event
This award show is on par with being the equivalent of the Grammys or bbmas in the west and twice has the won the grand prize of song of the year three years in a row at this award ceremony (cheer up in 2016, signal in 2017 and what is love? In 2018)
Lmao MAMA is in no way the Grammys or the BBMA’s of the east when most of the nominees are literally all from Korea ft. one act per country lol. They don’t even include groups like YG and SM groups anymore. MAMA is rigged af hence why a lot of people and companies are boycotting it. I would say GDA is more prestigious than MAMA, thankfully Twice has a bunch of awards there too.
@@fatimaezzahraessaadi9583 It is not really rigged, just that the criteria set may be more beneficial to groups with super large fandom. For eg, the daesaengs for 2019 are skewed towards views / sales / votes (and very little of professional opinions), so who else can win except BTS?
@@alexally2769 Well, groups from SM & YG are still included in the voting (they were out-voted, so I do not know whether will they still able to get the prize if they had won - though I presume probably not), even when they decided not to participate in the actual show.
This is actually an award show but they held DOME tours (250,000 seats in total). And sold it out in 1 minute. Their concerts are to die for, I swear. Please react to BDZ+FANCY KCON JAPAN.
This why I told you my guy that this was their best MAMA performance 😆😆 and yes, live. The fits, the vocals, the time allocation, Mina's english...All of it was just perfect👑 . Glad you decided to react to it💖
Japanese cameramen: Look how stable our cameras are. Korean cameramen: Look at our camera. It moves around. MAMA’s cameramen: Look at the size of our stage. We have a lot of audience.
Just finished your Time To Twice reaction and I really enjoyed it Now you reacted to my favourite twice stage performance ever Thank you!! And, from what I know, it's live
"is this live?"... Twice answers by having Mina sing Dahyun's line after hers, Jeongyeon and Jihyo in the chorus, Tzuyu doing Mina and Chaeyoung's lines, Jihyo and Nayeon improvising their high notes in the final bridge... Probably my favorite performance of What is Love ever.
They are definitely singing live here. However, every performances always have the backing vocals (either coming from the original audio or a pre-recorded one). Still, if you'll listen carefully, youll be able to distinguish their live vocals to the backup ones. Other kpop groups also do this. It's a normal thing especially that it'll be very tiring to be consistent on your vocals while dancing hard. It's just that sometimes, the backing vocals are louder than the live vocals. This stage was my most favorite performance of twice in MAMA. MAMA btw is an award show wherein there are also other kpop groups performing, with different fandoms in the audience. Twice also performed in MAMA 2015, 2016 and 2017. There are other award shows where Twice and other kpop groups performed such as MMA, GDA, MGMA, AAA, and SMA. They also have lit performances and remixes of songs but for me MAMA and MMA provide the best ones. Lastly, there are also year-end shows (or called as Song Festivals or Gayo) where Twice also performed every year along with other kpop groups. The gayos are namely SBS Gayo Daejeon, KBS Gayo Daechukjae, and MBC Gayo Daejejeon. These arent award shows but they have amazing performances and collaborations too.
This show was their best live stage. Its just amazing how professional they was. They are stars, no doubt. And they are still humble. I love them. The japanese dome concerts are great too (live vocals, amazing stages)!
Wow great content thanks for uploading so much other youtubers when they become famous they upload less but thank you for being so humble and uploading so much. Love ur channel.
Wow! Finally, the stage response came out! Thank you! That's my favorite performance, too. Recently, there was a video of all TWICE members watching and reacting together. On the same day, some idol teams danced to the song "Bounce" by South Korean legendary singer Cho Yong-pil, while in TWICE Momo and Mina performed short but impactful performances. And, you already know that, right? The first lalala of "Dance the Night Away" is Mina's voice.
This is an award show that artists get asked to perform at. It happens at the end of every year and I'd say it's one award show everyone looks forward to. There's a lot of groups you could react to for MAMA :) -if you could please react to got7's MAMA performances that would be great they even won best performance at last years award show.
Twice also did a reaction to this stage in their vlive last month. They said it's their favourite performance so far. I think most of us will agree too!
You should react to their trailer “Seize the Light” its about their hardships that they were going through throughout their career, there was even a special trailer for Mina🐧🐧😚
I always wish I could watch performances like this for the first time again. The feeling you get from watching it the first time just makes you love them even more. (I still love them more more more and more everyday now too.) 🤧❤️
this channel just feels like a real family grown, every person here loves twice and feels the same when u reacts to them, im glad i´ve discovered this channel from the beggining! (also sorry for my bad english)
It was only three actually Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. Two shows in Tokyo dome, 2 shows in Kyocera dome I think and in Nagoya... I forgot, correct me if I am wrong.
ive been goes to twice concert 2 times in jakarta and singapore IT WAS AMAZING,SUPERB,MEMORABLE..and candy bong ocean bruuuhhh you will cry watching candy bong ocean its sweet, pretty im crying from the start of the concert until end
Ah TooGrown - I’m so glad you’re finally reacting to this one. Onces were entirely blown away by this show. Some observations: 1. The three songs performed were the three Twice singles released in 2018 (It was a spectacular year for Kpop in general). DTNA won “Song of the Year”. 2. The vocals aren’t exactly live, but they were recorded on the same stage during rehearsal. 3. The outfit changes are pretty sweet - you can tell when one is coming because there will be a musical interlude or they will talk to the crowd to stall while a different member does a “quick change”. It still comes as a surprise, tho. 4. This is a huge crowd, but Mina shows plenty of poise and confidence. That tells us that most of her anxiety was caused by her injury in the later part of the season (even though she’s has always had some).
Lol I turn away for a bit and get back to work, come back and you snuck in a 3rd video! You da man! I was sitting here watching you say ridiculous over and over, thinking to myself he was gonna mutter "it's so ridiculous that it's ridonkulous!" 😂 Thanks for the sensory overload today! It was as epic as this MAMA performance! Enjoy your weekend, bro!
