Can't Stop Me is one of my top favorite songs from Twice. The vibe is unique. I normally love Twice's super cute concepts, but this concept is more mature but not in a way that's forced. I'll never skip it! ♪ヽ(´▽｀)/

I think you might vibe more with their B-sides, I think people are too quick to judge Twice on their title tracks. They have fantastic B-sides where they have a lot of versatility and explore their lower tones

thanks for reacting :) mina and tzuyu are the members you pointed out several times. at 22:55, mina sings first and tzuyu sings right after. mina is the blonde in the i can't stop me mv. most of their title tracks do lean on the cuter side, but they have a huge and versatile discography. if I could recommend anything from twice it would be their bside "espresso". you can listen on your own time! i just think it might be your taste.

Twice have A LOT of good b-sides - they have some of the highest rated albums in K-pop. They also have quite a few songs with retro sounds in their b-sides, which I absolutely love. Songs I would recommend: - Cruel (written by Dahyun) - First Time (written by Jihyo) - Trouble (written & composed by Jihyo) - Baby Blue Love (written by Nayeon) - Handle It (written by Chaeyoung) - Love Foolish (written by Momo) - F.I.L.A (Fall In Love Again) (written by Nayeon) - Espresso - Crazy Stupid Love (written by Dahyun) They have so much more good ones but I'll leave to this 💜 Also, yes Jeongyeon (pronounced Jung-Yon) was absent for some of their promotional cycle as she was recovering from her herniated disc injury on her neck and then later anxiety. Like Mina, even though she was on hiatus she decided to participate in the MV recordings but not dance or promote etc. The one that catches your eye is Tzuyu (pronounced Chewie).

When you said “you know what this reminds me of?” I knew you were gonna say Legally Blonde. I love that movie! 💖 Don’t feel stupid about not knowing the song was in English. This happens to me literally all the time. I have a playlist of English songs and there have been so many times where I listened to a song, didn’t even remotely realize the entire thing was in English and didn’t end up adding it only to notice the next time I heard it 😅

If you're not someone who enjoys a lively and cute music style, I believe that when you listen to Twice's earlier songs after understanding the personality of each member and the atmosphere of the group, you will come to really appreciate those songs. It's because you won't perceive the cuteness as something artificially "created" for the group's image, but rather as something genuinely fitting for them... I know my writing may seem odd, but that's how I grew to love Twice. I've been listening to Kpop for over 10 years and always resisted the cute music style, so I hardly listened to girl group songs... Until Covid happened, and I had spare time at home, I decided to get to know various girl groups through variety shows. I left Twice for last because I wasn't into the cute style, but after watching their variety shows, I suddenly understood why they've remained beloved for so many years! It's been almost 2 years since I started liking them, and they have truly become my Ultimate Group now! Apologies if that was a bit lengthy, haha... I honestly never really liked a Twice song until they released Can't Stop Me. It has exactly the kind of vibe I like and I loved it at first listen. Still not tired of listening to that song. Btw, I don't know if you have adressed this somewhere already (I may have missed), but your videos have been much quieter than usual lately and I am trying to figure out if perhaps you decided to keep the volume at a lower setting or if I am just losing my hearing because I feel like lately I need to push the volume to the maximum to be able to hear you/the music

This has a retro vibe so of course u love it. =0p Jihyo is the one with red hair here, lol. She was sitting up front at the table. She is releasing a solo album this month. People quickly judge Twice to their title track becaused it is supposed to be upbeat and cutesy especially on their earliest track, but there b-sides actually very good than any other groups imo.

I feel like you might like Talk that Talk or possibly More and More. I’m not a big girl group person either but those are some of my favorites.

I think its a mistake to view them as cute, they are a lot more than that. I think many people avoid them because of that. But there's a big difference between Perfect World for example and Knock Knock. They do have a lot of things that are cute, but I personally don't see the cuteness in ICSM. I do get it though, just a general thought. I also think that pausing a lot is a good thing. Its transformative content or whatever they call it, so I think you're doing a great job at actually transforming the content and providing your personal opinions, its what people are there for anyway.
