Great news for many with similar problems with the lower jew if set back, go for twin blocks to fit inside, many thanks Dr Sarah for that technical information
I’m getting the fixed braces tomorrow Although the estimated time for most cases are 9-12 months , I recommend wearing that as much as possible and only taking them out for food and sports. I understand it’s hard to get use to especially when your in school but once you get them , try and speak as much as possible, like reading , singing for even just making videos for yourself to keep for the future. Once you get use to them , they become a normal thing and they won’t bother you anymore. I’ve only had them for 6 months , my overjet went from 1.2cm to 3mm with the constant wearing of them. Just think about how nice your teeth will look after this stage and how you can get your treatment over with sooner if you constantly wear them .
Hey, I’ve had my braces for around 7 months now and my bite is fixed now , I only had the twin blocks for 6 months since i wore them very consistently, i don’t want to say my exact age but I’m 12-15
Same question, I have a lower jaw set back than the upper jaw. I spoke to my dentist and he said he would not recommend these for adults. Is that true?
@@DCTVGAMING. Honestly it'll take a couple days of eating softer stuff also remember to put them back in immediately or your teeth will move and it'll hurt like shit dude. Mine broke and I didn't have them for two weeks and they wouldn't go back in
I had one of these when I was a kid and it was hell. You can’t speak properly, eating becomes a chore and you look weird with it on. Thank god my teeth r straight now
It shouldn’t snap that easily unless u bit down really hard. It’s made of plastic and shouldn’t be able to snap that easily without force being applied
I’ve had it for a year now and it’s not that bad once you get used to it, I’m getting it off in 2 weeks and getting fixed braces. ❤❤❤ Wish me luck 😂 Just to warn you it’s a bit hard to make certain sounds/letters with it at first but with practice you get the hang of it 😅😅
You just showed pushing the upper central incisors INWARD. This is not good… Upper jaw needs to be brought up and fwd, then the lower jaw to follow. The graphic you showed results in a lesser-than-ideal facial profile bc even though you brought the lower jaw fwd, the upper jaw is now brought back.
This thing is just waste of money .. for jaw growth try mewing or go have a surgery .. a palate expander will not widen ur face but it will give u an overbite or tmj issue for sure. Braces are also good option
its not exactly for jaw growth its to bring the lower jaw forward. also surgery is wayy more intense than these lmao idek what ur saying. no logic at all
