I'm Filipino and speak the Tagalog language she does during the rap portion...I can tell you honestly that she's pronouncing and enunciating those words so perfectly it's unreal. I can hear her and yet I almost can't keep up cause she's doing it so fast my brain can't keep up. But all at the same time it's spoken so clearly. Blows my mind
She arranged that version herself. When she covers a song, she makes it her own and arrange as how she feels.that song shoul be sung. She is a very versatile singer. In that same competition, she displayed another facet of her style in "Say Something", "Royals", "Real Gone" and other songs.
I literally laughed when you said about doing a trumpet. 🤣 She can do that as well. There is a lot of good performances of KZ in the competition. You might want to check as well her rendition of Royals. Also, more on the Soulful side check her Feeling Good cover she did it with the Philippines Queen of Soul Jaya. Thanks for your great reaction as usual. Love you both. 😘
I love the blending in your intro, nice! Pls react to KZ TANDINGAN's version of " SAY SOMETHING", thats one of my fave performance of KZ at Singer 2018. Thank you
Next sir is Mr Gary v..sing Spain on wishbus..he is micheal Jackson in the Philippines..and Mr pure energy here in our country..God bless..And more power
Now, now. I expect a straight reaction of you to one of KZ Tandingan's cover, but holy guacamole, I didn't expect the intro. You are an adorable, talented self. Aaannndd..... You gain another subscriber~~~
So happy u guys reacted to this,it makes me proud as a filipino. By the way that rap part is "tagalog",filipino language. She also rapped on that same stage when she sang TOYAL. And yes,kz can do "HUMAN TRUMPET". Thank u guys,ur reactions are so real and pure,i can tell that u also enjoyed this. More power! Trivia: kz's idol is jessie j. After that performance she even hugged jessie and funny part is that she steeped onto j's foot bc she was so nervous same time so happy.😁
The rap part is sang in Tagalog, a Filipino language. In summary, the meaning of the rap part is “Do not cross me or I will crush you with my words/lyrics/poetry you wouldn’t even know what hit you.”
The chemistry on your voices are beyond my understanding. Its so effin glorious! I could listen to you guys if Im having a mental breakdown and suddenly be okay. :) I love you both
She’s rapping in her own language it’s called Tagalog. The national language of the Philippines. This is a competition in China in 2018 won by Jessie J.
Facts: The first part was actually reverb not autotune. She is from the philippines. She is actually a human trumpet look for close to you by her. 🥰 Thanks for reacting on her. She is amazing
Need to react to Marcelito Pomoy singing "The Prayer" on wishbus..I hope it will be easy for both of u to analyze his voice..Goodluck reacting to him..HE IS INSANELY TALENTED. !!!
KZ's rendition of rolling in the deep in this instance is almost theatrical. Here's my take on her performance which I believe has several creative layers: interpretation of the story in the song, melodic changes, vocal style, and stage presence. I want to share what I feel about how KZ interpreted the story. The creative decision to start with an acoustic guitar and then the utilization of the auto tune is pure genius. The guitar implies romance that rolled into some sort of a bubble as soon as KZ begin singing with the auto tune. The transition is confusing- acoustic to auto tune - exactly what KZ wants to evoke (what happened after she gave her all in love?). The robotic sound effected by the auto tune is a reference for manipulation as KZ (who feels treated like a robot) sings "you played it... you played..." while standing still in that dark stage, her facial expression is sad and defeated. She wanted to break away from this unfortunate state. When KZ belts out a sustained note with the auto tune, that signals breaking away from the dark - she pushed it away (see her hand gesture before the sustained belt). The camera moved and rolled (underline rolled). The stage is now filled with streaks of light. She's free! She's no longer sad. But she's angry because something beautiful is all put to waste. It takes a technical vocal skill to utilize an auto tune in a live performance especially when KZ is clear what feeling she wants to communicate with her audience. KZ "owned" this song right in the very beginning. The rap is just a bonus. My two cents.
Philippines have so much world class talent. Their one breath carries so much notes created. Btw, after you finished KZ performance reactions, try reacting the cover of "One Sweet Day", and You will be amazed. Katrina Velarde & Budakhel did it like no other.
Thank you guys!♥️ for reacting to this. Super love KZ Tandingan she is from the Philippines. Please also react to her performance "Say Something" In the Singer 2018
Love your intro! Piercing my soul! Its purely eargasmic! I also enjoyed your reaction.. looking forward for more. Please react to KZ's rendition of "Say Something" to see the other side of her performance.
She's from the Philippines and yes, she can perform the trumpet amazingly without the instrument. She also does her own arrangement. Her covers are so good, sometimes better than the original. She even rearranges her own songs! Creativity is her.
Thanks 4 reacting to KZ TANDINGAN try also "Royals" and "Say Something" by the way she's also a filipino singer rapping in tagalog..and she's also the one who makes the arrangements of the songs
All of her performances from that Singer 2018 competition was great like: “Royals, Say Something, The Hurts you never knew, Real Gone and See You Again”.
I love everytime you do reactions. Im so happy to see your faces while be amazed. Shes from the Philippines and shes actually rapping a tagalog lines. Its the national language of the the Philippines.
Im so glad you made a reaction for this video. I love you both sooo much! Especially singing before making your reaction videos. ❤️❤️ Hope you'll also be able to make reaction videos with Kz's other live performances on The Singer. More Power Abela Bros. 💙💙💙💙🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
I like how you critic even the slight details. I love that. Most of the people I know wont even notice these little difference yet hard to execute notes etc.
She's from the Philippines ^^ and the rap part was the Tagalog language and being a Filipino myself I can tell you she sang every word accurately and clearly. She is really a skilled artist!
She also sang her own version of the song Say Something during that same competition....also went viral... it's like the opposite of the spectrum..so emotional that really got the audience to tears..as well as her other rendition of a chinese song The hurts you never knew...got to see the other side of KZ..
Her SAY SOMETHING on that show always gets me. Simple, but gets me... And Jessie J is her Idol. She kneeled down when she met her. And by the way, she can do the trumpet.
She has original Filipino and English songs. KZ is an artist, not just a singer. I believe she does her own music arrangements. Check out her rendition of Say Something in that competition. Love your original music and lyrics, wonderful harmony. BTW that beautiful wavy hair should be on me.
You have beautiful voices. Wow, I'm a music lover and listen to it everyday and have been to many concerts. Would love to see you if you come to Seattle. ❤️
Its always sooooo fun to watch reactors getting confused by the intro. You can almost see in their faces the horror of the possibility that the distortion effects would be present throughout the entire song.hahah😁🤣😂
