Among the many unique ships of Star Wars, this is one of the most unique! You got two pilots for it too? Fantastic! It is a satisfying vehicle for sure!

Really cool ship and good business practice, now you have to buy two of the same figures in order to display it properly

It's intriguing that this ship lacks a battery compartment, unlike the other larger ships. Nonetheless, as you mentioned, it stands as a fantastic representation of a truly unique vessel in the Star Wars universe.

Kenner struggled to find enough vehicles in the movies to make "budget" toys to keep on the market. Lack of electronics and fewer features kept costs down, and thus less privledged kids could get this one. This came out a year before Mini-Rigs came on the scene which was their partial solution to lack of budget toys,@@starwarscollectionsanddisp5854

@@alexianemp I think they had a few mini rigs out when Empire was released, the tank-looking thing with the bubble? The other vehicle that did the splits?

@@kashdog11 You're reffering to the MLC-3 Mobile Laser Cannon and the MTV-7 Multi Terrain Vehicle. Both were part of the first wave of Mini-Rigs in 1981, the year after the Cloud Car. Kenner had to get special approval from Lucasfilm to make those, as initially Lucas didn't want them to make things that weren't in the films.
