Nick Coppage from Maryland enjoys preserving agricultural history and he has moving history in the form of a 1938 Massey Harris Challenger. Collected first by his grandfather, Nick was able to keep it in the family. Intriguing to see the design of a rugged machine dating back more than 80 years.

I think one of the things that Massey Harris tractors had that held them back was the PTO was set so high.

Thanks for another great video Brian. It was very interesting for sure. I have heard of these Massey tractors but never seen one until now. Beautiful restoration job on this tractor. The two gentlemen that own it are keeping it in wonderful condition. It is a very nice tractor and fairly rare. Thanks for everything Brian. My compliments to the owners. The Iowa farm boy. Steve

The only thing it would take to increase its value would be if it were Green. Massey made every bit as good, if not better, Tractors than a rough running Green one but wasn’t as high Value.😅 Fergieman

did U clean and overhaul the carb it should be dipped and boiled out or clean W a tank cleaner U go by the corrected 2 sea level HP/BELT HP ratings 😊😊 2 19 2O24
