Exactly how I felt with my 550i. I’m sorry man. I had noise from the top too but it turns out cyl 1 spun a rod.

just be glad it didn’t blow in arkansas and there was atleast some enjoyment happening

Had the same thing happen to mine. Thought it was the top but spun 3rd bearing. Went full forged after. They did have a pump recall though for the s63

Check to see if you have vacuum when you open the oil fill cap if so, you may have an issue with one of the breathers and the valve cover for the check valve on top of the valve cover
