Congratulations for Beckhoff to Finally Switching to Linux. I had used many Codesys systems with Linux based, and the performance its very very superior than any Windows based System. Its time to provide the Twincat IDE for linux too :)

Twincat IDE for linux would be great. sadly it's integrated in ms-vs as a platform (extension). looking forward for a linux-supported IDE

What if, perhaps, releasing your tools under free licenses, compatible with GNU GPL, would be a competitive advantage? Think about it.
