In case you didn't know, this song was based around bassist Nikki sixx being brought back to life by paramedics giving him adrenaline shots to the heart after a heroin overdose. I can't ever drive slowly to this track 😁

And who found him and called the paramedics initially? Slash.

The epitomy of 80s Metal, they were there from the beginning. When I think about Hollywood/Sunset strip you can't help thinking about Motley Crue, Shout at the devil is probably my favorite album from them. From start to finish it has has that 80s Metal look & sound with catchy guitar fiffs all over the place.

@@gracieb.3054 I saw Theater of pain and girls girls girls, I can't remember why I missed Doctor Feelgood but I did. After that Vince solo like a dozen times. AC/DC was the loudest concert, I had ringing for 3 days. It may have been where I was standing, I don't recommend anyone standing next to the monitors If they value their hearing.

November 17, 1989, Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Dr. Feelgood Tour... What A Show... $18.50 for a kick-ass rock show. Tommys drum kit for his solo was mounted on a track that was suspended from the ceiling so he could strap into the chair and it rolled out partially over the crowd. Warrant was the opener and put on a good show, but Crue always brought it and you left drained... great times at so many rock shows in the 80s.

Dudes, watch the official video for Cue's "Wild Side". TRUST me! Do a reaction! 🤘 Bt the way, that "sound with his mouth", during the guitar solo, was made with a devide called a "talk box"...the most well known example in classic rock being Peter Frampton's song "Do You Feel Like We Do".

Back when the Crue got started they were the best thing going for about five years. I saw them live several times from 1981-1986 and they put on a hell of a show. Every time after that when I saw them live I left disappointed, not that they were horrible, just that I knew how great they once were.

One minor correction here, if you don't mind - "Louder Than Hell" was from the Theatre of Pain album in 1985, along with their cover version of "Smokin' In The Boys Room" and "Home Sweet Home" (still my top favorite to this day!) Peace!

By the way, Lucas? Put on a jean jacket with a band logo on the back, a t-shirt with a cool graphic (and maybe an unbuttoned flannel plaid shirt between that and the jean jacket if you want too), ripped jeans, and high-top Nike basketball sneakers, and a chain attached to a wallet (and maybe a leather bracelet with metal studs) and, with that hair you could pass for an 80s metal head! 🤘

Samuel I get what your saying but the “talkbox” is part of the guitar solo. He is playing there. The voice is integrated with the amp and the guitar being played. Very cool effect.

There are two main “laws” in regards to this song: no speaker in the world can make this song justice, and you should never listen to it while driving 😂😂😂 You know how this song was created? Well, bassist Nikki Sixx died of a heroin overdose in 1987, was resurrected with two adrenaline shots to the heart, gave it a “kickstart”, and he wrote the song on a napkin. Originally, Nikki weren’t going to include it on the Dr Feelgood album in ‘89, but the band convinced him otherwise… it was the album’s second biggest hit, behind the title song Dr Feelgood, if I’m not mistaken…. This is a KILLER song… (btw, edit, the scene with Nikki’s legs on fire is 100% real, they actually set him on fire for the show, in the start primarily)

Good stuff, as the BEST version of this Classic Metal Riff is the “Live in Dallas, Texas” (via the Decade of Decadence ‘81-‘91 Album) as it has been a workout track for me over the last three decades. Still gets the blood pumpin. 🍻🤘🏼🍻 I’ll leave you both with this thought, if the version above does not increase your blood pressure, you might want to see a Dr. 🤣🤘🏼😂

If you are getting into the heavier stuff (i.e. hard rock and heavy metal) give a try to the German metal band Accept too. The title track to the album "Balls To The Wall" is EPIC, and Vince Neil (Crue's lead singer) was allegedly influenced, in part, by Accept's lead singer of the time, Udo Dirkschneider. More reactions! Official vid! You could also try Judas Priest...and there are others...
