I love how when Mom and Dad were busy talking about French and the numbers and counting and Ana and Guin kind of tuned them out and started having their own little conversation. I love when they interact with each other. So precious.
@christinecurtis8885 Those little twin interactions are so precious. I love how Guin seemed to sense that Ana wasn't feeling well and showed real concern for her sissy. They are so sweet! 💜💗
Just my personal opinion at present : Guinevere is humourous and fun loving (in a good n positive way) like dada and Anastasia is cool n calm like mama. But two are very sweet, cute and beautiful. But of course they're just very young toddlers (23mths old now), there might be lots of changes over the years in future. Counting down : looking forward to their great 2 y.o. birthday video on 2/2/2024🎉🎉🩷💜🥰🥰 Love you all, the much loved Bartons,🥰🥰🥰🥰
Alicia and Walt are great parents. Those girls are loved and taken great care of. If they feel something is wrong, I'm sure they'll take get it checked out. All children have bad days. We see Ana and Guin, 10-15 minutes a day. Just enjoy, wthout rude comments. I think they do a great job !
No way today. Mom and Dad have great patience with these sweet girls. They are an example to all. Too bad all children cannot have this kind of loving and non judgemental parents.
Yes, it made me sad to see Ana's sad little face but her Mama had her laughing and back to her usual happy self soon. The girls are so fortunate to have such good parents . 🥰
These girls. Anna having a rough time last couple of days. Teething is rough. I hope she feels better soon. Gwen trying to console her is precious. BFF FOR LIFE! I just love these sweet little souls
Poor Anastasia is having a bad day, as all toddlers do. If she's cutting more teeth , I hope they come in soon so she can be her smiley, fun self again! I feel bad for her. Guinevere is so cute with fixing her carrots! You both are exceptional parents and have such a calm manner about you when the girls are having a hard day. Bless you all.
Poor Anna...hope she feels better soon...you can tell she isn't feeling the best..she usually eats her tomatoes so fast..it took her some time to even put one in her mouth..❤ The salmon looked delicious btw.
@maryannlee1491 I agree...as soon as I saw that Ana didn't even touch her favorite tomatoes at first, she wasn't interested in eating anything on her plate. Teething can be so hard on babies, but I was happy to see that she did eat her tomatoes and Dad had her amused by the end of the video. I hope Ana will be feeling better soon! 💜
Sometimes dinner doesn't go as planned, but it's good to see that Mom and Dad tried their best to get the twins to eat a little something for dinner. Alicia, you are always so patient and your voice was soothing while encouraging Ana to taste her dinner. Walt can always be counted on to bring some fun and playfulness to the table, and I loved how he showed Guin how to connect her "broken" carrots with her fork. For sure, some days are more challenging than others, and you just have to go with the flow. Welcome to Parenting 1x2! 💜💗
No you can't spend every every 2 minutes let them kiss every knick-knack you have in your house and hugging their sandwiches you know how dirty a stuffed animal is I don't know I don't know what they're supposed to do they've been so confused by to unwitting parents you can't even keep their names straight to them and then when they hug bacon of all things they giggle at their kids parents need some experience from their parents
What a boring day it would be without the twins! They definitely keep momma and daddy on their toes. I imagine you are both are exhausted when you go to bed at night.
I'm sorry, but I laughed so hard when Ana said, "No, no, no," when Mama picked up the fork. Then she pointed wanting it put down beside her plate where it had been.
@karenhenley2195 I laughed at that, too! Ana was so adamant about not eating and wanting her fork returned to its original place beside her plate. I got the hint as soon as she ignored her tomatoes and turned her entire back to Alicia. Her intention to not eat was made very clear to me - LOL! I hope she feels better soon, so she can enjoy all the great meals her Mom prepares for her girls! 💜
These videos warm my heart. Thank you so much for sharing your family. I often feel overwhelmed by the stresses in life and I always feel comforted by these clips. You are brilliant parents and lovely people❤
"Super Goo!"😂 That was cute! I remember when I cared for my twin niece's. When they were Teething....day's were rough to say the least!😂 I Love how you both laugh through the rough moment's! Anastasia and Gwenivere are blessed with two wonderful parent's! Enjoyed watching! Hope you all have good day! ❤❤❤
@@lorisheheen2198 No problem. :-) You're welcome. It's a little hard to spell "Guinevere" for me as well, without looking at the description box of the video.
You guys are wonderful parents! “Anna’s turned into a teenager overnight”. 😂 it seems she’s not been feeling great the past few days. I love watching their individual personalities develop. They are adorable!
16:35 the twins start communicating wiith each other in their own little language , guin ask sissy for tissue and she gets it and i thought she would give it to her and all of a sudden she said thats mine . Guin took it so seriuos and it made her sad. She looked back at anna with such a sad face . I love it when they talk to each other, It's just to cute. Mom and Dad you both do great parenting with your twins. Oh by the way I'm gram to 2 sets of twins😢
My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE visit with the twins so far! Love your family. When Dad tells his story and the girls proceed to "talk amongst themselves" PURE LOVE
I love how Guinevere put her carrots on her fork to fix them. I'm sad that Anastasia isn't happy, teething is hard for baby and mama. She didn't even ask for pickles or milk. She did eat her tomatoes though!
Ya, I laughed out loud here by myself at Guin thinking her carrots were broken and that she had to put them back together. Caught me by surprise . They so fun and funny. They always make me smile. Just darlings
I'm amazed at how much you try to give them every single thing they want tell them they don't have to have anything they don't want. What is life about??? Doing the things you don't want to do not always getting the things that you want when you want them. The sooner a child can learn this concepts the better off they will be. They'll understand that disappointments happen and that sometimes I have to do things I don't want to do. I would never allow my child to have more food when there's food still in their plate. You finish what's in your plate and then we'll see if you're still hungry at that time. It's so easy to defer them to something else when they say oh TOMATO ..... Oh you know we're going to have tomatoes another time right now we're eating carrots. Just because it's not exactly what they want or their favorite does that mean they shouldn't have to eat it. It just sets them up for a really difficult time down the road of life.
What's left when they are in their first year on their own, when it isn't like it was at parents house? Let them be kids, make friends, mak6 decisions other than food!
We are having a freezing day and stuck inside. Perfect day to watch twins eat and all past videos. My have they grown since the beginning of video. Love watching reruns of them,! ❤❤❤
Not hungry today? Watching this again and in just three month's you can really see their brain development. You are great parents and so patient. I wish I had a time capsule of my boy's development. One to five years of age is so critical for a good foundation for life.
It's a joy to watch these young ladies learn and grow and to see them with loving parents who care to introduce them to different cultures. I had a lot of food allergies that led to serious illness as a child. My mother was smart enough to adjust the menu. It's that simple. So if one is teething, they don't have to have a gourmet meal for it to be enjoyable. There are elderly adults with issues with their teeth who love a good cheesy egg scramble with toast, oatmeal with blueberries, etc. Soft foods are the basis of care for anyone with issues. Slip the veggies in, give them a side of sushi or egg rolls and they will figure out what works for them as they develop. Kudos to the Mom and Dad for figuring out what works for them!
Alicia, I am sorry to tell you the girls are growing up. You handle it so well. I remember this time. I had such a hard time when my son turned 2. But, my dad gave me some good advice. He said you want them to have a mind of their own and that is true. They are so precious.
The girls just mske my day, thank you for sharing your little girls with everybody. You alwsys have such wonderful food for them ❤❤❤❤❤Sending lots of love and hugs to everyone ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm coming back as a twin, Alicia and Wal will be my parents, and I want the same yummy food! Adorable video, I take my hat to you both. Excellent way to raise twins! ❤ Nora - Australia 🇦🇺
Oh no Ana so sorry you're not feeling well. Lucky you having parents with patience and understanding. Dad's keeping Guen busy so mom can help Ana. Now that's teamwork. Thanks for sharing... much love 😘
Anastasia hasn’t been feeling well for a few days. Praying she starts to feel better. These girls are so sweet. I enjoy watching them so much. Maybe Mommy should try feeding Daddy when Mommy wants to get the girls to try a bite. It would atleast make them laugh. 😁❤️
I was so sad they were having a disagreement but happy they were then having a nice conversation in their own language 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤ love the way gwen says tomatoe 😊 and super glue😊
I think sometimes there's too much stimulation for them to stay focused on eating . Then they get frustrated...You two are great parents with lots of patience.❤
You continue to always amaze me with the different food that are introduced to the girls. Your daily videos are always the best part of my day. Sending you all lots of love your way❤❤❤❤❤❤
God loves a trier ! I worry about Anna she looks so sad teething can be a very painful but not to worry it does not last you are doing a good job please hug Anna for me .
@jantelford9163 We had a light dusting of snow today in the suburbs just outside of Philadelphia. It was only enough to make a couple of twin-sized snowmen, so I'm not sure if the Bartons saw any snow in their neighborhood. It sure is cold though! ❄☃⛄❄
We didn't get any snow until we were on our way home from Massachusetts on 1/15, but the snow was melted when we woke up. Hopefully we will get some snow soon because the girls have never seen it😆🩷🩷
Ana usually is trying her food. Not wanting to and tugging at ear is a sure sign of teeth. So sorry to see her discomfort. That just don’t know how to tell us. See Ana is hurting. Bless her heart. And God Blessyou all❤❤❤
Your girls are so cute, I enjoy watching them experience new things. You guys are great parents for exposing them to new foods when their young so they maybe like them when they're older.
What a beautiful family. The girls are really showing their own personalities for sure!! Ana was most certainly practicing for her teenage years! So cute!
Just love what good parents you are! We have all experienced difficult times during meal time. You handled it like pro's. Hope Ana will feel better. Thank you for sharing! God bless❤
Lately I’ve been seeing Ana make a face when she’s describing something cold. I’ve seen it in several videos and I honestly laugh out loud because it’s the cutest face she makes while saying burrr. She did it again in this video. And wasn’t Guin sweet. I think she knew Ana was feeling bad today. Probably those darn molars trying to break through. Such precious girls they both are. I just adore them.
I think Anna just wants daddy's attention on her side of the meal for a change. Let mama entertain Gwen on the other side. Anna I more focused on the attention Gwen is getting and is not happy about it. Switch it up folks. See what happens then.
Just in case some of you don't understand sarcasm this is a sarcasm. As I read through the early morning comments, I thought "Wow these people must think that Walt and Alicia walked out their front door and discovered these nearly 2 year olds on their stoop this morning!". Now, not sarcasm: it's a pleasure watching these two sweetie pies grow up, even on off days.
The great carrot caper of 2024! I give Alicia credit. She makes these wonderful, thoughtful meals for the girls and they don't eat them or eat very little. I would be insisting that they eat those *darned* meals RIGHT NOW! Alicia handles it all with aplomb. And I shall forever remain childless lol
OK, this comment comes from a girl twin - old/76 - 2lbs13oz, not as a mom or child care expert. Girl twins are about as competitive as two humans can be. If you had said, "Gwen dropped her carrot, can she have one of your's." Anna might have screamed no, but at least she had her say, and maybe no one would have gotten bopped. She might have centered her anger at you and not her sister. "
I do think you are great parents but I can only see this from my perspective. BTW, my parents did dress us differently and made it a point (if possible) that we could not be in the same class so we had our own friends and we did not have to suffer the humiliation of one have a lower grade on the same piece of schoolwork.
@@kathleenlangstaff5039 Those are really good points. I was also thinking that if Ana didn't get so much control over what they ate, when they stopped eating, if they played, how long they played, etc., then perhaps Guin wouldn't be calling herself "Ana". For example, Guin asked for a tissue. Who got the tissue? Ana. Then when Guin asked for the tissue again, Ana screamed "No, that's mine!" Ana doesn't share well.
I am like Ana and Gwin when it comes to salmon. Not a fan of an orangy-pink fatty fish. Hope Ana feels better soon. Gwin is so vivacious--can't get enough of her enthusiasm! Hi to Mom and Dad too. 🥰❤️
Boy we dont see Anna like this much Gwen either. Anna just wasnt having it at all. Not her day. I hope she feels better tomorrow. Lots of hugs to the girls😊
OMGoodness. What a cute video. Ana has her gamet of emotions on high today. I could not believe she didn't go straight for the tomatoes and the carrots. I hope her tooth breaks through soon. Gwen was addiment that she was DONE-finished. I thought I would die laughing. You guys handle them like pros. My son's friends 4yr/o (yesterday) is them all rolled up in one. Thank you so very much for sharing and the laughs. Precious.
Awww! Ana's teeth must be bothering her cause she didn't go after her tomatoes like normal❤😢 teething is rough on everyone! Much love to all! Lol girls missed out some yummy looking salmon!❤
Hello Alicia and Walt, Upon watching you and your adorable girls everyday, yes, from morning to night. I love them dearly and you are doing a commendable job taking care of them. I salute you!! Applaud you!! And love you!! My late hubby and I had two children, we loved on them like you and Walt are doing, they loved us so much they did not get married until the age of 27. They are both in the ministry like their daddy was.
You and Walt have a great time. He is so funny with his comments. Interpretive dance today cracked me up. My husband and I laugh everyday. Poor Anna wasn’t having it today and Guin wasn’t too hungry either. Oh well can’t win them all.
@OptimusPine20 Walt's comedic talents truly come in handy whenever the girls need a good laugh. Poor little Ana has been a bit off these last few days (probably teething), but Dad was able to lighten her mood there towards the end of the video. When he commented on Guin's interpretive dance, I cracked up! 😁
When my 52 year old son was 2 he just refused to eat. I was at the pediatrician every week ! Cook anything he’d eat almost ready to bring out chocolate, cookies, anything ! Dr said he won’t starve ! I was sure he would ! Now this is what he said 50 years ago ?? So idk if true ? He said 2 years old grow and don’t eat a lot when growing ?????? Take it for what it’s worth ! He did eat fruit ! Corn on the cob and Cheerios with milk ! We had our own garden so I cooked all fresh . Anyway, he’s very health always has been ! But caused me a lot of grey hair! We never pushed he hated peas so no peas ! Still does hate them ! I’d sneak in bathroom and cry so he couldn’t see ! I thought I was the worst mom ! But he still likes me ! 😂😂😂😂😂
Poor little Ana just isn't herself this morning. I heard Mom mention her teeth so if that's the problem, that's a bummer. She was pretty quiet yesterday, as well. Lots of hugs might help.!!
In my opinion….. no such thing as “the terrible twos” I love all the stages of children growing and learning. Ana and Gwin.. you just be 2. We ALL have our days
It is clear that they are not a huge fan of this. They are old enough to eat without being hand fed. If you give them foods you know they like now and try these things later on, you may have more success. If you give them foods they are too young to like, but they are still hungry and know that they can get something else if they don't like it, you may get more of that later on. For kids it's best to keep it simple and kid friendly.
There's a channel I watch called Learning With Maverick. The parents document the baby boy being fed his first solid foods starting at around 5 months. He's about 21 to 22 months by now & the videos don't come as often. But an amazing thing I saw on one of his last food video at 20 months. Maverick was spoon feeding himself & then wiping the excess food off his mouth with the spoon! Very smart kid. When he got big enough to feed himself, his Mom always encouraged him by saying "you do it." These girls are 23 months. I think with more encouragement, they too can be more independent and feed themselves.
I agree that teeth coming in may be part of Ana's issue with eating lately. I would give my son baby Tylenol before meal time occasionally and it would help a lot.
:) What is up with Ana this morning? She is sad, and goofy and laughing and all over the place. Lol... They are definitely working mommy and daddy and God Bless you both for being so good with them!! Doesn't look like they are salmon lovers yet. I think they just like their apples... :) Have a great day!!!
Anna wasn't keen on figs bar Gun was keener. Even had Anna s bless very sweet chatting to mum as usual their vocabulary is getting better every day so cute 😊❤❤❤❤
Poor Ana. 😢😢 Praying for comfort and to feel better. Maybe a banana on her hurting gums. Guin is entertaining as usual.😬. Prayers also to you Alicia and Walt dealing with a teething baby.
Ana was not having any of it today - she looked so sad. 😞 I know when I don’t feel well, I want comfort food. Maybe soft foods for Ana - crackers “dip dip” in milk, blueberries, tomatoes ??? Guin was so concerned about Dada’s eyes = glasses? We all have our days, today was Ana’s. ❤❤😊
