Reminds me of that episode of Man Vs Wild where Bear Grylls is hunting seals. He's like it doesn't matter if you miss your shot, they eventually get curious and pop their heads back out of the water to see what's going on.
With the way Sarah and Manly's character's started so familiar with each other, I thought that meant there was going to be some backstory about them being in the game together for some reason.

Fun facts: Almost every fictional serial killer is inspired by Ed Gein. Hannibal Lector, Buffalo Bill, Leatherface, Norman Bates, the Tzimisce from Vampire: The Masquerade and lots of smaller slasher movies nobody ever heard of. Basically if it involves cannibalism, homicidal mommy issues or wearing human skin suits or decorating with bones/human leather it's Ed Gein's wheelhouse.
Its weird how all serial killers seem like a thing of the past, they don't get much press if they are still around which I'm assuming is the reason to avoid people killing for fame. But you'd think we'd still get some modern ones in the news at least once or twice
@@creativenickname1 You're just not paying much attention to the news about serial killers, though I don't exactly blame you for it as they don't really seem to get that much mainstream television news attention these days for whatever reason, probably because everyone has lost their minds over the past decade relative to the views of whatever political bubble they find themself a part of, but there are currently multiple trials ongoing regarding confirmed or suspected serial killers who were only caught in the last couple of years.

I think the audience might be betting on who's going to lose and sitting behind them, since at the end you shot those in the seats behind you, and when you went against Edgar Im pretty sure you can see that he shot the ones behind him as well, so you bet money on that youre going to live and you sit behind who you think is more prone to lossing, or maybe you sit behind who you think will win and if you survive them shooting at you, you get money in return. Honestly the most criminal part thing about the game show is how accurate the ad breaks are. LIKE WE ONLY WATCHED THEM ANSWER ONE QUESTION EACH lmfao! As for the crowd, i think they know as one of the contestants is part of a cult as said at the beginning. Part of me thinks it’s cult members joining the crowd but I could be wrong.
A killing game show isn't new, but I like the presentation here. The fact that the other contestants can perform differently helps the replay value as you go ending hunting, and I'm all for a host drumming up the madness of it all. A little more variety in the questions would help, but it's a small gripe.
I would say that if the creator is willing to keep working on the game, not only should more questions be added, but also and most definitely more endings and more contestants. I'm for example seeing an ending where you get all contestants who are friendly and just afraid of death as you are, so you all agree to work together as best as you can, and make only one or two sacrifices if nothing can be done to avoid the death of any of the other contestants. For example, you all agree to do the same amount of hits between your fingers in the knife minigame, and at the end of that, you all get the same score, best dependent on the score you, as the player, have got, same with the voting, to save as many people as possible, etc. And at the end, you would ALL turn your guns toward the host instead and keep them at a gunpoint, so his choice would have to be between letting you go with, or without the money and dying himself.
The content warning at the beginning of the game made me laugh. Like wow, I never expected *"who wants to be a murderer"* would have some violent and disturbing imagery!

you were correct on the brain damage one, it only takes about 5 minutes for permanent damage to occur if not receiving oxygen and blood flow stops. But after 10 minutes brain death occurs aka they die. so I was really surprised it said you were incorrect
I think the audience signs up knowing the chance to be killed and the people getting shot at are simply which players are still left and what audience just happens to be behind them. SO it's like a small team set-up like Medieval times.

fun facts: i live in the same town as Overbrook Ayslum. it was knocked down about ten years ago and now a nice park as well has town homes take its place, but before that, those old buildings were spooky at night.
I was half expecting an ending where, if you and Sarah manage to make it to the end/you completely get her trust, you both just refuse to shoot anyone the whole 30 seconds, and the host maybe kills you both directly or even the audience instead kills you out of anger for not being “entertaining” enough. Or a version where you can shoot the host at the end instead of participating etc. Lots of cool options to expand upon!

On top of that, by voting for Richard, you force his hand. If he votes for Edgar, he dies. Edgar votes for him, majority, or votes for you, everyone dies. He *must* vote for you if he wants to live.
Honestly this is my favorite youtuber. He's the only one who's both interesting enough to be worth paying attention to and not loud or distracting enough that I can't put these videos on in the background while studying or working.
I think that if you pick the super moral options having sarah not betray you would be interesting dont know if its possible going off what you said. but like agreeing with sarah to either kill off the host or just not killing off any of the audience at the end could be semi interesting for another ending/extra dialogue. though that may just end up with both dieing i guess. am a little curious if its possible to tie the kill counts at the end if both die or if its not possible to tie or something.
It could be a "shotgun with a rifled barrel" which is technically classified as a rifle (see: KS-23), and is primarily meant to fire slugs over buckshot.

The developer is Italian, in Italy shotguns are called "fucili a canna liscia" which translates to "smooth barreled rifle" (not rifled) while a long rifle is called "fucile a canna rigata" so "rifled barrel rifle"
_Gives new meaning to "Is that your final answer?"_ MBH was of course fantastic with his aim and would win any shooting contest! I both liked and didn't like the game. I liked the idea and appreciated the different endings. Interesting they were tied to the moral questions asked. Thank goodness not to the actual questions, because the answers to those were a mess. I guess the host helped some contestants cheat? Or maybe was a game bug. But wrong answers became right for no reason. While that was confusing, what made me not quite enjoy the game were the incorrect or misleading answers given as "correct". Maybe it's me, but I enjoy learning things in little quiz games and not getting a tad aggravated with false information given as facts. For instance, Overbrook Asylum didn't house criminals, it was famous for people freezing to death one winter. Brighton Asylum I think was the one with violent patients. Trenton was famous for the weird doctor Henry Cotton. Mozart was not buried in a mass grave - it was merely an unmarked one. Natron was used as a preservative, but MBH was right about honey being used for embalming as well. Other than that, I enjoyed the game's concept.
Oh man, IF what you are saying is right, then this game really was VERY poorly done AND researched, Jam game or not aside. I will be the first to say that I'm not the fan of completely wrong answers being posed as the real, true ones in games like these, or, for that matter, in any game show, real or not. Why is a game like this a thing? I'm not hating on the idea itself, same way as you don't, but if you want to make a knowledge based game, at least make the answers accurate.
@@LugiDergX Agree. I can only think that since time was so limited, the dev did a "quickie" look ups or like with the mummy question, inadvertently wrote 2 potentially correct answers. It's actually good to be sneaky about response choices in designing formal tests, but not in a simple game where other questions/answers are iffy lol. But I still enjoyed the game. :)

I like how good old mysterious edgar gets the question completely wrong, yet gets a "correct! it's [other answer]" and it isn't acknowledge by anyone in the game or commentary lmao
Going back on your word on that first death was a real bad decision. The one across hints about the value of trust, the one to your left is trying to cut a deal. By selecting them, you've outed yourself as inherently untrustworthy and compulsive in lying, making you an easy "out" for both to agree on targeting. I assume the best goal is to keep your intent secret, then select the one across from you to put added pressure on the one to the left to focus on taking down what appears to be a stronger threat. This would also be an easy out for the one on the left as they would see it as simply following the leader rather than making a decision for themselves (as hinted by the previous question where they would simply follow fate). Fate believers are notorious for having weak, personal willpower reserves. That is if there's logic involved.

Ya know. This kind of was an ACTUAL game show, though not lethal the idea was the same. Russian Roulette. Four (or five depending on the version) contestants standing on drop chutes answer questions, a wrong answer would make them pull a lever to see if they are safe or get dropped. Each question another drop zone would be added until there were 5. The round ended when someone was dropped in to the pit below.
Thank you for turning the screen filter off. I imagine it probably helps with the overall video quality, but I also much prefer seeing games as clearly as possible, even if it means some of the graphical quirks start to show.
The serial killer trivia questions are all trick questions. Like Hannibal Lecter was partially inspired by Dahmer, the serial killer Buffalo Bill was inspired partially by Dahmer and partially by Gein. Even then, indirectly since they were directly inspired by other films. Psycho was based on a book that was inspired by Ed Gein. Ed Gein was only convicted of 2 murders and isn't even legally considered a serial killer. Those are trick questions where arguments could be made that any one of the answers, in fact ALL the answers are correct
Most questions and answers had this issue of being debatable or borderline wrong. There is no “Overbrook Insane Asylum” in NJ. There *was* an Overbrook Asylum, but it has been replaced by the Essex County Hospital. However, the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital exists currently and has been there even longer than Overbrook, so I don’t get why the “correct answer” wasn’t Trenton. Also, apple seeds contain cyanide, but so do most fruits. Including oranges and watermelon…

Sometimes he jokingly goes for the more lovecroftian characters ("I can still work with this") he often go with the flow in the games/stories tho'. (Wich is more fun, wich character is more intresting etc. Tip: watch Manlys reactions to Genji from "Your turn to die")
That concept of evil games is really skyrocketing. And I like that, each one makes me want to find any loopholes in rules that can be abused, just like the traps in old SAW movies.
What may be important to note about the audience is, from what was shown is that you turn around to shoot in the final round. This may mean that the audience are people who are wanting to see the contestant they are behind to lose, or alternatively, based on the 1 family member or 10 strangers question could mean that each contestant has a family member in each of the other sides audience. The later would explain why of the seats appear empty in the final opposed to the 1st, in the sense that their respective family member/contestant lost in one of the earlier rounds.
