I like how Manly gives off these cheesy ass one-liners right before he kills someone. That totally fits his character for me.

"I'm sorry this usually doesn't happen," mid-murder is the height of hilarity.

The coolest part is how the kills started going wrong. The detective was actually smart enough to figure things out and get one step ahead of the killer.

Camp directer to a bunch of kids “So, there was this horrible murder spree in happy hills. And worse, the killer would say cheesy one liners before he killed you” Manly “they weren’t cheesy, but this is.” Proceeds to murder the camp directer with a block of cheese.

Only on Tape 4 of the video but I can imagine this is a full almost 50 minutes worth of Manly saying death puns before finishing his victims

Manly needs to star as a killer in a horror movie, he has the greatest one liners.

For Tape 17 just thinking of being in the hospital and finding out that a serial killer was in your room while you were sleeping and killed someone must be horrifying.

I love how this killer is an actual creep and not some victim that has justifiable reasons (doesn’t make them innocent tho). On the one hand he was getting called names and insulted by his looks, on the other hand he had an crush on a student who is an minor, and is being an creep about it.

Gotta love how Dr. Hawkins' patient monitor gets disconnected, probably indicating the patient is dying, and he is as chill as ice

7:05 you can almost hear the cogs turning in Manly’s head for that one perfect one liner before he went “eh fuck it”

It's kind of funny to see the killer being killed off in one shot when we are playing as him but if we are playing as detective it took 11-12 shots and he still didn't get killed.

I like how the clown just defies all logic and deflects bullets with a trash can lid

Is it me or is Manlys voice a perfect fit for the main character?

I can't believe they send full SWAT team for him and the murderer just go full sicko on them.

Okay, I actually like that they didn't make the killer absolutely good, and some of the students had legitimate reasons to dislike him (creepy behaviour doesn't just go unnoticed. Maybe to the would've-been victim, but your unhinged behaviour would have to reflect on your day-to-day life). As cheesy as this was, the graphics were amazing and the plot is simple enough to be likable.

Man.. now I really want a movie with a serial killer who gives one-liner every time he kills someone.

I'll write down what I found, feel free to add more below. 20:15 Bates Motel, same name as the motel in Psycho 28:16 Madison Carpenter, reference to legendary film director John Carpenter, who directed one of the most famous slashers Halloween 28:46 Elm Street, obvious reference to Nightmare on Elm street 31:30 Multiple references- Dr Voorhees as reference to Pamela/Jason Voorhees from Friday 13th, Dr Loomis as the reference to Dr Samuel Loomis, psychiatrist from Halloween and I am sure there might be some more

I like how they managed to use every L4D2 character's scream.

I love the little cheesy jokes he makes before murders,and the “dont drop the soap” had me rolling on the floor

The copy machine making copies of the guy’s face in the office was a…nice? touch lol. I also appreciated Manly covering his mouth when he spoke as the killer, that’s real immersion right there. 👌

I was pleasantly surprised they didn't make the killer actually sympathetic in any way. He was actually a massive creep who was already planning something. Like the victims weren't usually sympathetic or anything, but, most of them were basically innocent. Maybe even all of them barring the two jocks, considering the guy who was *arrested* for Cheese Pizza was apparently allowed to keep his job at the school, meaning not only was he not convicted, he had to be proven innocent to such a degree that there was no doubt he was not only innocent, but set up. ...And the killer *was* a janitor attracted to a student... ...I think this killer janitor might have planted a "gift" for the teacher. ...And that other guy *arrested* for arson wasn't one of the two jocks ether. I like the twist that the "vigilante" was actually not only an insane killer who didn't care about the crimes, but that the victims were actually innocent to boot! That's a good twist on the typical "vigilante killer" formula, that the label of "vigilante" was applied to the killed by others and shaped our perception of the victims, despite the fact they didn't actually commit any crimes, only were accused of them. Honestly feels way more authentic to the movies at the time, where the victims were mostly just innocents.

I honestly can take the hammer seriously when it uses the exact sound effect as the Pan from TF2, and there is nothing more ear destroying than a congregation of Pan Scouts all hitting each other or the floor

Happy to finally see the full game after seeing the demo years ago, nice and stylish as always. Just as nice as Manly’s puns.

Your dry humor, deep voice and the deadpanned way you said the puns really cracked me up! I just recently found your channel and have been watching all your videos. Your great. Love that you go though everything, find all endings and explore the entire games. I also like that you play everything and not just main stream games. Love horror!!!

The switch from the one-liner to the more serious delivery of his classic “you’re gonna burn alright,” funnily enough makes it sound like the killer’s “wrath” toward the victim makes him break his clown character.

I love the small pauses before every kill because you can tell manly is thinking of a pun.

I like how the hat of the farmer at 24:40 is still intact even after going trough that machine.

The brutality of the killings start to really make sense when you realize it’s personal. Who else sees the blatant resemblances through clown guy and the zodiac killer?

The "Gordon freeman!" line got me chuckling bc i was thinking the exact same thing haha. Funny how gaming can just ruin simple objects for people. Such as half life with the crowbar

Freezing someone in a freezer was the only kind of kill this missed lol. Really fun little take off in slasher films. Agree about adding a few more puzzles to the kills and selling this on Steam.

Man, I struggled like hell with the bar fight and final boss, and Manly cruised right through it. Loved this game though. Need more games where you get to be the slasher.

if you listen close there are PLENTY of valve sounds in this game LOL the woman in the motel made rochelle noises, the farmer in the hay made nick noises. love hearing assets from L4D2. I cherished that game as a kid.

I’m surprised that the clown didn’t get any blood on him considering how gorey some of the kills were.

I love all the little easter eggs of other movies, and i love how they made the kills simple and creative like how micheal myers does.

Perfect fit for halloween game. really enjoyed all the culture reference (80's music reference and TV series, nice taste), mostly a mesh of common trope of slasher films, but that doesn't hinder the entertainment. looking forward for manly to voice more villain characters!!
