Rode this in the back for the first time last season after exclusively riding it in the front prior, and I will literally never pick any other seat going forward. This is an INSANE coaster to ride in the back on. My brother and I got absolutely whipped through that first inversion and I knew we were in for a treat LOL
This is a great roller coaster! You get everything you need. For you all who are scared to go on this, trust me just go on it. The worst that would happen is a minute of your life that you didn’t enjoy. When you’re looking at people going on the ride, don’t get psyched out. It’s an amazing roller coaster, I would recommend you to go on. The first drop doesn’t really have that drop in your stomach and the other drops are small! Please go on this roller coaster, you won’t regret it. I’ve seen 6 year olds ride this. If a 6 year old can ride it, so can you! You got this! I know you can do it!
This is just flat out my favorite coaster (Granted I only rode like 20 Coasters. But this was the first one I rode with an Inversion, so it helped me get over my fear of Coasters)
My 8 year old daughter rode this today as her FIRST big girl coaster. I'm still not sure if I made or broke a future coaster rider 🤣🤣🤣 proud of her just the same!
I went on this ride for the first time a week or two ago with my dad, and it’s pretty fun, but not if you have a fear of falling. It feels like you’re falling out of your seat at every drop. I love the ride (we went on it twice), but if you can keep a smile the whole ride you deserve a reward XD
I love this ride. HOWEVER I am completely against rides that can't pass the sandbag test. Modern coasters rely too much on restraints. If a sandbag falls out, IMHO the ride needs to be redone.
This was my first inverting coaster (I refused to ride roller coasters for awhile) and I ended up riding it 4 times in one day. If you like hangtime then go early in the day (like around when the park opens) and go in the front seat because that first inversion early in the day leaves you hanging for a bit and was quite the first inversion experience
This is an outstanding roller coaster and a great addition to Kings Dominion! Wood and steel team up for an awesome experience that combines the best of both genres. I can't wait to ride more RMC installations after this.
Finally got to ride TT yesterday. WOW! Amazing ride! I was very surprised on the smoothness and the air time. Gives the other coasters in the park a run for it's money.
I might be going on this ride soon, and it'll be my first RMC! I've heard nothing but good things about all of the RMCs so I'm really going to look forward to this!
2nd best coaster at KD. I was surprised by how good it was. Very smooth track but the layout is fairly intense so you get bumped around in the best kind of way.
This video literally does not give you the many tiny deaths that you die on this ride! The 3 humps are insane and will take your breath away. It’s one of the best rides I have ever experienced. 😂😂😂😂
I loved the hurler, I was sad to see it close. However twisted timber is like... OMG its incredible. So smooth and the air time is like... WOW.. I make it a point to ride a min of 4 times per visit. Cant want to see RMC work this magic at Hershey park with wildcat
@@superiggybros7005 They would if Kings Island hired them, but that won't happen because Mystic Timbers is a great woodie and was only built a few years ago. If Kings Island gets an RMC, it will be ground-up.
I just rode Wildcats Revenge last weekend. It was amazing. Haven't been to Kings Dominion since 2017 so I haven't had a chance to ride twisted timbers yet
I love how it flies over the bunny hills. It is not like a B&M where it slows down to 10 mph and just crawls. This is true ejector airtime. RMC and Intimin have got making great coasters down.
@@NathanHydra I want to actually feel something when I ride a rollercoaster not gently go over hills and through turns. Standard B&M's do nothing for me. Intimidator 305 is the top non looping standard type coaster for me.
@@spider0804 “standard B&M’s” there is no such thing. If you mean most B&M hypers, there is plenty of floater airtime (weightlessness) to be had on the top of the hills. However, look at other B&M’s such as Kumba and many of their inverts and you’ll have plenty of positive G’s. Intimidator isn’t a “type” in itself either, if it belongs to one model it is an intamin mega coaster (which goes up to giga heights). Which is quite funny because the other one of this type that reaches similar heights is millennium force, which is often considered to be low on forces.
Great ride….😅…we did both kings dominion and Busch gardens as a single trip. My family voted this best coaster out of all coasters in both parks….we rode them all🤙
Ugh I went to king dominion recently and I was so scared ride these scary roller coasters but when I left the park I was regretting my decision to not ride the roller coasters and now I’m begging my parents to go back lol
I rode it the first time yesterday lol i screamed so loud my group heard me lol that drop and them damm camel hills is what i remember lol i think just the lap restraint is perfect because i felt like i was gonna fly out. That was the fear lol normally i worry bout head choppers, on that thing, they were the least of my worries lol
I just went on this ride for the first time a few days ago. It was truly insane and my first RMC ever. I liked it however I’m a bit overweight and I got harness burn on my stomach from my tummy constantly rubbing against the harness every airtime moment.
Excuse me? I’ve been trying to find The Hurler For The longest Do you happen to Know where it is? Excuse me sir! ITS RIGHT THERE! that’s not the hurler i remember..
This ride was rlly fun and tame at first but it got way too aggressive especially during the little drops, and really hurt my neck and back. My friend did not enjoy it and when we got off the ride there were a group of people sitting down on the ground and their faces were completely red. We had to wait an hour before getting on any other rides because my friend was extremely nasueated afterwards.
was terrified the first time got my bday and dipped but i went this time and it was really worth it super fun and the upside down swirl things are not as scary as they look take it from me i was screaming my ass of on everything
thanks man my friend is betting money i won’t ride it cause i’m scared outta my mind and it would be my first upside down coaster you’re making me feel more confident 🥲🥹
Just rode it Saturday....this thing is like brand new each ride to me. It still manages to make me piss myself lol it's that damn slow ass drop (it feels like forever when im going through it lol). N im not even gonna talk bout the speed n transitions lol
Are your shins supposed to hurt on this ride? or was that just a tall person problem? I felt like my shins were going to snap in half on those air time hills.
The pov doesn't do this ride justice, this ride doesn't give you a second to breathe. It's nonstop twists, turns, and drops. It also is way faster than it looks.
I rode this last year during a jrotc trip and let me tell you when I passed out on this ride. Afterwards one of the Seargents there and I felt motion sick and they brought me to the bathrooms but on the way I threw up and spent half an hour by the toilet feeling dead and nurses came in with a wheelchair and they took me to the first aid. Gunny was there and babysat me and my temp was like 95. He took me back to the tour bus and I chilled there for the remaining hour. Fun times. And not to mention most of the ride home I felt sick and the unit stopped by for some food and I was forced to drink water and eat something and then I threw up in that bathroom. That story is now told by the 50+ cadets who went. I love them to death though.
For who hasn’t road this ride I’ll give a story of how it’s like so when you leave the station you it’s like a tiny drop that drops like 2 feet then you’re on the hill when you’re done with the hill you kinda drive side ways a little bit and then you do a barrel roll while dropping then after that just strait then you go up side ways come down tiny hill then big hill big air time another big hill great air time one more hill then come to go in a little hole while doing a barrel role very crazy come do a couple tiny hills go up to turn around and do another barrel go up a tiny hill while side ways great air time couple tiny hill and then it’s done the video kinda says almost everything I just typed but to let you know it feels so good because of air time especially in the front there you go go do it and have fun
Saw all the regulations for riding this one. Straps on your glasses? No hats? Nothing in pockets? No loose belts? Didn't get it until I rode it. Nice surprise!
