Br andon twister actually means that you walk realness and then you come back and vogue femme, sometimes the realness part gets dismissed a bit, sometimes it's more important, as with all categories it varys how serious the specification of the category is taken

This is what you call VOGUING and where they are doing it at it's called a Ball it a world wide thing now but was originated in New York City in the late 70's... There are many Houses and different categories in the Ballroom Scene and the performers when they go to perform its called walking the Ball. There is so much to this ART that it can' t be explained in a youtube paragraph. Google Vogue Ballroom Slang there are a couple sites that will give you a break down of the categories including Wiki if you just google VOGUE or VOGUING. Then you want to watch the documentary Paris Is Burning, also watch My House and the show POSE which is a fictionalize take on the history of VOGUE. Then subscribe to BallRoom Throw Back TV or BRTBTV and watch the clips also subscribe to any other ballroom or vogue site you might like. TRUST ME YOU WILL LUV THIS AND BE APART OF IT...👍😀
@@arniecalang4583 TWISTER Category is when a CIS STRAIGHT man (Although RARE in the Ballroom Scene but they do exist especially in EUROPE,) or LGBTQ Man who are STRAIGHT ACTING meaning you can not tell they are LGBTQ even in their everyday life, and they VOGUE as if they are BQ/Butch Queens or FQ/Fem Queens meaning they VOGUE Fem. The Twist is they are Masculine in appearance and acting but VOGUE the HOUSE DOWN. Now some might say Butch Queens and a Twisters are the same NOT TRUE. Butch Queens although they look masculine and dress masculine they their FEMININEt of their FEMININE side. Heterosexual is CIS Heterosexual Woman (Yes just like Cis Heterosexual men in the scene CIS women also exist) Trans Women, Drag Queen, or an EXTREMELY FEM and FLAMBOYANT man; whereas a Twister is CIS Straight man or LGBTQ man who is 100% MASCULINE meaning Straight acting all the time. These days there are quite a few BQ's in the Twister Category and it takes away from the TRUE meaning of this category. BQ's tend to be more in touch with their FEM side and are more fluid in their movements when it comes to VOGUING. True Twisters when they VOGUE they tend to be a bit more rigid in their VOGUING but what makes it EXCITING is to see them try to be as FEM as possible.
